I do hope that such cases don't stop at DNA but go all the way to address the criminal nature of the case. First, there is sleeping with a minor and there is a child marriage there. Parents need to stop tsika yekudzinga vana kuti enda kwawakawana nhumbu. This is just a child. We need to have a better way of approaching these teen pregnancy syndrome. We can't have our children throwing away their lives nekuti paitwa nhumbu. We need to help them pick up the pieces and guide them towards a better tomorrow. This chain needs to break.

As per usual... we have normalized something indecent. I'm sure if you follow up the story, he did force himself on her & she now felt uncomfortable to say anything. She already seems very quiet & meek which is probably a result of abuse. She's too young. People are not ignorant to the fact that sleeping with minors is a crime, they just don’t care because nowadays no one is going after these kind of crimes anymore. These types of cases are rampant in our communities and have become so normalized it’s sickening. I get angry when Zim makes laws they can't follow on. If statutory rape is taken serious we wouldn't find school children having sex. Tinashe your line of questioning is distasteful considering this child is under age. I think when questioning people who were raped woti hamuna kumanikidzwa or makavhiringika etc is very unfair and distasteful. Such cases should be referred to the chiefs or police as statutory rape rather than parading them on your show for viewership. It’s disgusting. Don’t make profit on the backs of the underprivileged and vulnerable girls. My 2 cents.

I've never felt so uncomfortable watching this program. There is a clear case of statutory rape here and at worst rape. The girl was too scared to say it in front of the guy. For Tinashe Mugabe to try to sanitise this nonsense is infuriating. How can you ask them to hug? What's even more shocking is that a lot of people are defending this situation.
