I just posted something very similar without seeing your comment here Andy. I watched a documentary on the case yesterday (Known about it since it was aired on Crimewatch years ago but always kept up with the case because it's clearly a load a bollocks why he was inside). Searched to see how they were getting on with appeals and found out he'd died. Nobody will ever get charged with this now and they will just sweep it under the carpet. That poor mans life was absolutely ruined for no reason other than to cover up some arse holes sick act.

I’m from Clydach. From the next street down. Katie was my childhood friend. I remember the morning I woke up & heard police sirens everywhere. I remember my dad telling me they all died by a fire that broke out in the house then later on we learned it was murder. I was devastated. My dad has since passed away but is buried in the same graveyard and I often visit their grave. I miss Katie so much 😞 there is a new documentary this Thursday on BBC1 about this case. Im in ny...cops picked me off the street when i got into my car...they took my car and drove it to queens i was in the bronx ny.( no warrant) I asked for my lawyer 4 times. I had my cell for a minute and got in touch with my dad b4 they snatched my belongings. My dad...my lawyer..my cop uncle called the precinct. Cops said no girl was taken in. I dont know what crime they were trying to pin on me. They asked if I have ever taken a cab, wore sneakers, wore a hoodie, etc all normal things. They said I I was in a cab and didn't pay for it and left my sweatshirt full of my dna. I was like you dont have my dna!!! And that isnt my sweatshirt... and they were like but you told us you wear sweatshirts... but I'm assuming whoever that woman was did something more serious because they had a picture of her. She had red hair and a pointy nose. I have blonde hair and a small nose. They were trying to convince me that was a picture of me. I started bugging after the 4th hour screaming give me a lie detector test I don't even know what you're accusing me of! They finally took my DNA and let me go and I have never heard from them again. So much more to the story but I can see how people could admit to crimes they didn't commit. they wouldn't tell me the crime..... I think I just fit the profile of someone and they thought they could just close the case and blame it on me. It was freaking scary but I was ok bc I knew I didn't do anything!!! Wish i sued!

I just realised that this was made before the January 2021 update where they're reinvestigating all the evidence and forensics that weren't done at the time and witness statements that were ignored, because there's so much pointing to it not having been physically possible for David to have done, that it makes his conviction incredibly dubious at best. It'll be interesting to see how the investigation continues through the rest of 2021!

So the crime scene investigators deduced that the grandmother was murdered first and then the killer stayed in the house and even had time to move a tv and fix the electricity before killing the rest of the family yet the police arrest and convict a man that they believed drunkenly killed them in a spur of the moment after being rejected (meaning that all 4 of them would already be inside the house, again conflicting with what the investigators deduced)? Not to mention of course how could someone be that meticulous while drunk. Makes no cents luv

@@normalpeopleboreme Totally get what you're saying but messing with electrical items is a completely different risk though. Camvin exactly, also starting multiple fires drunk? How would he drunkenly, go person to person starting with the grandmother (not the main target), make sure to get rid of as much evidence as possible, set fires and fix the electricity- all over rejection of sex and then barely even go down the sexual avenue. It doesn’t really fit right. police act like they can’t use common sense and evidence when convicting people. Then they get pass when they completely mess up regardless of all the lives ruined by it. But yeah screw the fire department for trying to actually do their jobs.

21:11: sounds like the killer might have forcibly (maybe by chokehold) taken Mandy to each room to show her what had been done to her family, in effort to inflict as much emotional torture to her during her attack. (And the oldest girl wasn’t dead yet...and she tried to get away while her mother was murdered in the grandmother’s room. The killer came out of the grandmother’s room, saw the daughter crawling down the hallway, and finished her there.) I’m sure Mandy was in shock and suffering from trauma, if she, herself, went to these rooms and the killer followed...because I would think instinct/clear thought would have sent her running to the front door...not take the killer to her daughters’ room. But, I don’t know. Maybe the killer said something that made Mandy fear for her daughters...but for Mandy to escape the killer beating her in her room, and, yet again, escape the killer while being beaten in the daughters’ room, to then wind up being murdered in her mother’s room...to me, it just makes more sense that she was taken to these rooms. I am going to be shocked if the murders weren’t done by her rugby friend, because she had fallen in love/became obsessed with Mandy. (And maybe her husband helped, because he cowered to his wife.) -- Now I’m at the part about David. His being the murderer doesn’t make sense, given the crime scene investigation described earlier. Thought they said that the killer killed Delores first, fixed a fuse, killed the daughters, then waited for Mandy to come home. He was found guilty...? Wha....?

He (david) recently died, thousands of ppl attended his funeral, lining the streets for his passing, meanwhile the victims family did all they could to sabotage his funeral threatening venues not to allow his wake, locally a lot more ppl believe he is innocent then guily, poor guy spent the last 22 years of his life in prison for something he very likely didn't do!

I'm from Swansea, and everyone I've spoken to about the case believes that it was Alison Lewis, and that her husband and his twin were involved as well, and that it's a massive miscarriage of justice due to the police's reluctantly to properly look into some of their own. I don't think I've heard anyone say that they believe it was Dai Morris.

I'm from Swansea too and I recommend everyone read the book about this case, because it is crazy how corrupt south wales police is. Dai is definitely not guilty of this, and he's been kept from his daughters and family for far too long.

Okay here's my theory pre second video: I feel like it's the ex-cop best friend. She'd probably know the house, maybe been over a few times? Perhaps the ex-cop is attracted to women, and falls in love with Mandy, like madly in love. Mandy is perhaps a person who has really uplifted the ex-cop from her mental illness, and so becomes the ex-cop's everything. Mandy tells the ex-cop that she's fallen in love with a man, the first one in years to make a proper impression on her; she's even wearing his old watch or something, perhaps hers had broke and she needed to keep time, or perhaps she was wearing it for sentimental value. The ex-cop becomes enraged, she's furious that the love of her life, her absolute everything, is running into the arms of a man, even after she and Mandy had spent so much time together; maybe even Mandy and the ex-cop had had some romantic encounters with one another, and the ex-cop was shocked when Mandy started dating men properly again. She's massively jealous, the classic 'If I can't have her no-one can' type of mindset. So she goes into Mandy's house; there's no break in, so perhaps she knows where a key is, or knew Mandy had just popped out so had not left the door on the latch. She wears a sock on her hand to keep fingerprints away, she's an ex-cop after all, she knows how to at least cover somethings up. She gets into the house, kills Mandy's mother; she doesn't want any potential witnesses to anything. She then waits for the rest of the household to come back. Mandy gets killed, brutally in the ex-cop's rage. She's then sexually assualted. A vibrator is used because the ex-cop is a biological female. This also means there is no semen anywhere, as a vibrator was used, hence there being none at the scene of the crime. The children are next. Perhaps because Mandy had put up a fight (the defence wounds) the girls had heard something, maybe even seen something. Either way, they couldn't be left alive by the ex-cop, it would be too risky. Perhaps tragically, the children had no idea that anything had happened, and so were taken by surprise when the ex-cop attacked them. The girl getting changed seemed to not know until it happened, whereas the other one had made it to the landing, so perhaps one had clued on whereas the other had not. The ex-cop then knew she had to cover up any lingering evidence of her being there, so she sets the house on fire, she is also very throuough with the clean-up as she knows what she's doing. She knows that Mandy had had several flings/relationship with men, David George being a dangerous individual among them, so she felt as though she would get away with it, as she knew there was evidence of other men being in the residence, whereas to the public and police, she would just be seen as Mandy's best friend. As for the necklace, if Mandy and David had been having sex at some point, couldn't the necklace have been pulled off then? Edit: if the cops in the surrounding area are so corrupt, perhaps they even covered up for an old colleague? We'll find out I suppose!
