The third bike in the "Battle of the Kings" World Champion lineage. The Coast Glide 3 is built on the 2021 Low Rider S platform and outfitted with a Retro style FXRT fairing and equipped with Low Rider ST bags. This time the Laidlaw's H-D team goes all-in with the carbon fiber. The wheels and all the body pieces are made from custom carbon fiber molds. The bike is designed to be a "do everything" kind of a motorcycle. The level of detail in powder coating and paint work gives it an absolutely stunning look - definitely making it worthy of the Coast Glide 3 title.
The Laidlaw's team goes into all the details on what it took to make this world class custom build come together.

Really like the bike. Now that the Low Rider ST is a production bike it’s probably time to do something completely different. Maybe a retro 70s build?

Holy Crap!! Congratulations to everyone on this build!! I like how the red changes. But in low light. The red changes to Moxxie burnt orange. Lol Not until I see it in daylight. I definitely see the red. I would love to see a line of Low rider ST built like this in mind. Love it!! 🤘💪

From the humble beginnings of a 2018 Sport Glide with a bat wing fairing to the 2022 Low Rider ST, it continues to evolve. Curious what the final build weighed, wet, full tank of fuel in the 5 gallon fuel tank? Those carbon fiber bags, battery covers and fairing really make the bike pop, appearance wise.

NiCE! I'm currently building a similar one one a Dyna base. I like the tightening in of the carbons, run into the same problem (Kraus, Carbonio and Dominator). Seeing this paint job helps me a lot envisioning my built. Thx

Carbon fiber beautiful!!! Carbon fiber frame and swing arm, please. Decreased weight helps everything, handling, braking, acceleration, and stopping. It’s easier and cheaper just to add a larger engine vs lightening the bike. Carbon fiber wheels help unsprung weight. Drop 100 pounds without affecting engine reliability.

Pretty tasteful. I’d like to see one with the Pam Am 1250 in it. Edit- actually I’d like to see a Pan Am “Coast Glided” into a bagger. Make it look as much like the touring frame bikes as possible with a Pan Am special as the frame and power train and put the coast glide touch on it. Stretched bags. 21” front wheel. Low. Belt drive. Orange and white like the first Pam Am but with a really sparkly paint like a carnival ride.

They keep saying “red.” I’m seeing “orange.” A lot of those bikes were hideous. Laidlaw and his guys hit it out of the park. This bike is badass. Nice and narrow enough to easily split lanes in L.A. traffic, but still has enough storage to not have to wear a backpack. HD should take styling cues from this bike for production. Excellent job!

Awesome bike... would love to get carbon wheels... very concerned about drivability on day to day rides... I know they're great in the twistys but what about stability on the hwy?
