Nice tips, thank you. I avoided the clip problem by immediately removing it and throwing it in the trash, I absolutely hate pocket clips on knives. I now don’t have any problem getting this knife in and out of my pocket or the sheath I purchased for it. Plus that darn pocket clip is not digging into my hand.

I picked up an AD-10 just last week. The screw problem appears to have been corrected. I took the clip off, bent it like I wanted to, put it back on, and had no problem. What I will say, though, is that now, if you try to put those screws back in WITHOUT the clip, they won't snug down all the way. At least on mine. YMMV.

I have never, ever had a problem with the screws on an AD10. Never even considered any "countersink" or anything else. They are the easiest knives to disassemble and assemble. This guy just had a bad one or something.

I WANT AN AD10 SOOOOO BAD. With four kids I gotta make sure they get the Christmas they deserve, hoping the AD10 is still available next year! 🤞

Previously I have heard of this brand but my brother recently bought a CS folder... amazing how solid these are built, even the lower end. I decided to buy a CS too... I think I will go with the AD-10..

I had purchased this earlier this year in late spring. Being left handed I swapped the pocket clip with no issues. I did keep the clip screws with the clip. I love the knife, it's a beast!

I know this is an old video but I can't find the ones you mentioned about making the AD 10 smooth.

If you slide coins one at a time under the clip, stacking, you can precisely control the clip adjustment. Like three quarters is good usually for me.

I just bought the 4 Max Scout and it makes me smile. My next knife was gonna be the AD 10. But looking at the Ultimate Hunter below your AD 10, and what you just told us, I might have to do some more thinking. (And I hate thinking. Especially before I buy a knife. Ain't right.) 😁👍

Cold Steel and Knife Center are both very reliable and I would contact them and possible send it back for REPL before I took it apart.. Still a very informative review!! I recently bought an AD10 Lite and 4Max Scout. Cold Steels new owners have become greedy and second rate as far as quality control goes. I've been buying Cold Steel products for over 25 years now and after I get a couple of knives I've been wanting from them I'm done with the greedy knife peddlers for good. I hate buying anything from them to be honest but nobody else makes big folders like they do. I'd love to see some other manufacturers start to make huge folders. I don't understand why none of them do. because there's definitely a market for them and it really doesn't cost a lot more in materials to make them.

I bought an unit around a year ago and my verdict is that the difference between the original and the clone lies in a slightly lower quality in the clone's steel.

Does anybody else have an ad 10 that while closed the blade has some up and down play. Mine will rattle sometimes and sometimes it will be locked closed solid. Great video, liked and subscribed 👍

Really no excuse for "Cold Steel" not putting different size screws to fix that issue. And you say "If" the lock is stiff? I've never had a Cold Steel that didn't have a stiff lock up. It's why I stay away from there stuff for the most part.

This clip gets no respect and I'm sick of it. You need a beefy clip for a 7 oz knife. I like the finish because it goes with the blade. If the clip was black it would blend w the handle. And lastly. Loosen the clip very easily and wo damage by anchoring the top w l thumb and gently prying the bottom w narrow utensil. My favorite weapon knife.
