The how a combine works video us still in production. I've been waiting for some new camera equipment I bought to come in. It arrived this afternoon. Hopefully, I'm going to get the last couple of shots to complete the video in the morning before we get to rolling hard.

Good job! I bought a 9400 combine in spring 2020 back when I had a full time employee. He left and every time I looked at that thing my thought was i didn't have the energy to fool with it so I sold it and leased my farms out. Haven't regretted it. Best wishes for a good and safe harvest.

Hey Dylan do you guys run the filler plates that go between the rasp bars?? We used to run them in corn and beans and take out for wheat but in recent years we have just left them out .
@DylanJoyceFarms10 ай бұрын
We don't bother with them anymore. I like to run them in corn but it's more trouble than it is worth.

How fast does the threshing cylinder turn? Is it different for different crops?
@DylanJoyceFarms10 ай бұрын
300 corn, 450-600 soybeans, 800+ for wheat.

The camera wasn't the only thing sweating.

The Lexion I have calibrates the concave clearance automatically every 24 hrs, it opens all the way up closes all the way down then returns to where it was set at.

Do you have a video of putting a front floor pan in a grain header I found a 220 header I wanted but the front floor pan that’s snaps in behind cutter bar is in bad shape, so I don’t know if it’s worth buying?
@DylanJoyceFarms9 ай бұрын
No sir, I've never done the floor in a flex header. I assume it wouldn't be too terribly difficult. I did put the poly liner up under the auger.

Are you able to keep your breaks working? They look like the same as my j.d. cotton picker has. I've thought about fixing them but everyone says that you can't keep them working. You need you a gleaner rotor for the hills at least that's what I hear. I'm looking for one to replace my m2 gleaner.
@DylanJoyceFarms10 ай бұрын
I never use the brakes. Just always use the hydrostatic and park brake. I have nothing against gleaner combines, but there is no dealer support in our area.

@@DylanJoyceFarms that's what I been doing as well with mine. I was thinking y'all were closer to b&g in Paris. I'm 2.5 hours from them myself but have another dealer an hour away.
@DylanJoyceFarms10 ай бұрын
@familyfarmertn8931 hour and a half from B and G but I have a Deere dealer 10 minutes down the road.
