Yeah, fighting the locust is important, but so are some key family relationships--like Marcus and Adam! Today we're looking at these relationships in the Gears of War Family Tree.

When you realize Clayton Carmine had his brothers' names tattooed on his arm and his war paints "practice reloading" "keep your head down" was referring to Anthony's mistake and lesson, and on his back armor "kill grubs" was for Benjamin who wanted to stay behind while Marcus Fenix leaves on a raven, and his ammo belt tattoo as a good luck charm to find more ammo or never run out of ammo just like many soldiers in the army support squads have

I still feel like Anya's death was depressing, she deserved more screen time, just as we got to know more about her in Gears 3, she was killed off by the writers in Gears 4.

Gary didnt died at the begining of the game, his body is found later in the game in the locust tomb, sorrounded by a bunch of swarm dead bodies, hi died taking a lot of enemies with him.

Actually the Devs said that they used his model as filler for Outsiders, so he did die at the beginning, people just adopted his look.

The locust where actually just miners who were exposed to emulsion or imulsion for too long and easy forgotten by the COG. Which allowed them to reproduce into the Locust. The swarm are just niles test subjects , right?

Biggest issue with Gears 5 is the choice of who dies. It was unnecessary and it just makes it trivial.

Exactly, the answer was to just kill off Del since his ‘character arc’ ended with him forgiving JD, which was bs imo, and he’s the one who traveled with Kait, so why was there a choice

I have to admit. The developers did a great job with the Gears series. I have played 1-5 minus judgement day and any others in between. I don’t really follow up on the backstories but what caught me the most was a doctor had interest in Myrah and settled to have a family despite the fact they experimented on her.

It has a good story, but the base of the game is just stupid. They throw in the berserker fight for no reason, they kill JD/del for no reason, and they have some kinda lame boss fights

If you only played the games you would think that Marcus didn't have Adam and Elaine's intelligence (Who had a doctorate in Biology). But If you read the books you would know he was the top of his class, and the only reason he didn't go to University is because of stories Dom's father told and what his father said when he was 5, something along the lines of 'I serve because the others serve to protect to eachother' (a really bad paraphrase but I don't have the book with me right now.)

Gary carmine is confirmed to be a brother of the original 3. In a few of his voice lines from gears 5 when addressing the other 3 he calls them “bro”. Although they don’t really like him since he isn’t didn’t join the cog.

Also Gary carmine survived the attack on the village by the cog, when JD, Del and Kait are fixing the power you can see his blue eyes from his goggles it’s a blink and you’ll miss it moment but he’s up in the right corner, also Barricade2091 made a video predicting that Gary would come back for gears 6

Not Gary, it’s just a reused model. They used his model because it was a night time scene, and Gary was the only outsider model with lights on him and his goggles. The coalition confirmed his death in the zombie Carmine gear pack description. Saying something along the lines of “Including Anthony Benjamin and Gary (who let’s face it) met his end in the COG attack”

Gear of war family tree mostly I think the game very awesome ever even the family tree gear of war actually is the best game ever. I like the character r great and excellent detail and realistic character r amazing ever. I am not huge fan gear of war but I enjoyed the video game is terrific and I actually love the graphics fantastic ever I really like the design and background is really great ever. It's really fascinating forcible great game ever very much and I think it is totally awesome ever and completely unique game ever.

Fun fact: carmine is a shade of red. Carmines are the red shirts of gears. A small time with Lizzie and she was the most liked character in gears 5. Honestly TC made gears like for honors story. Lackluster story and characters we don't care about. JD only gets liking and spared due to marcus. Jack And Lizzie death was the saddest.

On Marcus' Intelligence: It's mentioned many times that Marcus is just as if not more Intelligent than his father. He simply had no interest in being a scientist and would rather have served as a Gear.

In the Carmine Family, There is Will Carmine than can be tje original brothers father. Fredo Carmine that we dont know anything about him. D. Carmine, possibly he is Lizxys Father and Brother of ABC carmine. Gary is possibly killed by the swarms and mutated into a juvie because he survived the Db attack.

I think JD surviving will be Canon just because I feel Del's loss hit him harder since all through gears 5 he's a total jerk who distances his from his friends. So when he's crying over Del's death it's a bigger impact because his guilt is deeper due to their severed relationship. So I think in gears 6 we will get to see JD redeem himself for losing sight of what truly mattered.

Ryan Woodmansey lizzie is clayton’s niece meaning clayton has a brother or sister who’s a carmine. We have yet to find out who that other carmine is.
