William Nylander is the prototypical hockey winger who does almost everything on the ice. He’s among the most highly skilled in the league and possesses an ability to read the game at high speed. What sets him apart from his peers, though, is his pure doggedness and tenacity both on offense and defense. Nylander doesn’t give up on a play until he hears a whistle. And even then, he double checks.
When it comes to creating turnovers, Nylander is the most skilled forward Hockey Truffles has featured to date (and 2nd overall only to Adam Fox). He has a mammoth bag of tricks for dispossessing opposing players of the puck, and employs them frequently and with glee. There aren’t any weaknesses to his game, and every team in the league would happily pay just about any price to bring his abilities to their 1st line. All that’s left to be determined is what that price will be, and which team will be writing the checks.
