The “Concordia 2000” peace bell rings imperiously at noon every day. With its 18.1 tons, 3.11 meters high and a 500 kilogram clapper, the sound fills the valley to witness the peace of the mountains.
Erected on the top of Plan de Corones in 2003. Designed by the artist Paul dë Doss-Moroder, it symbolizes peace and is dedicated to San Bernardo, patron saint of mountaineers and skiers.
La campana per la pace “Concordia 2000” suona imperiosa a mezzogiorno ogni giorno. Con le sue 18,1 tonnellate, alta 3,11 metri e un batacchio di 500 chilogrammi il suono riempe la valle a testimoniare la pace delle montagne.
Eretta sulla cima di Plan de Corones nel 2003. Disegnata dall'artista Paul dë Doss-Moroder simboleggia la pace ed è dedicata a San Bernardo patrono degli alpinisti e sciatori.
