Jesus..... Watching your Dad speak and how strong he is, how strong he stays for your mother and your family, when he started crying my eyes just welled up.... What an amazing father you have, he reminds me of my own, very wise, very strong. Your mother to, she has a very pure maternal love for her whole family, you can see it in her eyes and hear it in her voice, she really loves you all. I cannot even comprehend how it would feel losing my sister or my little brother! I think its really good how you and your family have dealt with this loss, that you speak about it and share it, Its very touching. R.I.P - Mad Dog!

My dad died when I was nine years old(2009). After that I tryed to do everything that I thought would make him happy. That lasted for about five years until I decide that there is more to life then just grief. I didn't know what to do until I found fitness more importantly your KZfaq channel. You, and so many people I probably will never get to meet have impacted my life in so many ways. All I want to say is thank you for everything you have done you are one of my heros, and favorite person to watch. Thank you from the bottom of my 18 year old heart.

Amazing mini documentary. Thank you for making and posting. This really struck some chords, and brought tears to my eyes because watching Bigger, Faster, stronger involved us, the viewers, and opened the doors to the Bell family. I watch Bigger, Faster, Stronger all the time still, along side Pumping Iron, and Generation Iron. I was in shock when I saw the post of Mike's passing, and my heart goes out to the Bell family and sorry for your loss. My Daughter is battling addiction now, and I don't want that call. So, I feel for you all. I wish you all the best, and blesses. Respect!

thank you to you and your family . say thank you to your mom and dad for speaking out. I am the mad dude with mental health issues . I'm 46 and struggled all my life. i self medicated to cope. I haven't had a drink for 18 years. along the way I've lost every one because of my behaviour not a good thing to say. I have no one now. I have my training. my weights it keeps me going and sain. it's thr only thing I was good at. I was abused as a kid and told no one. now I've been diagnosed autistic and are treated alot different because there is a reason why I used to act like I did. I am alive and sober. what your mom said made me cry a big 200 lbs + dude. she has a big heart. sorry for crashing your family's thoughts but I just wanted to say thank you for your words. it hit home with me and I hope it helps other people to speak out and help others or themselves.

01/18/2013 my brother violently took his own life. One of the hardest things I've ever had to do is explain to my mom what he would look like so she wouldn't go see his body and have to live with that image of him for the rest of her life. I wanted her to have the memory of him as he was when he was alive. Taking your own life doesn't end your pain, it transfers it to your loved ones.

Sean always wanted to be a supper person and the hero, He was unbelievable on the foot ball field so focused but he could never focus and get it together in school to continue with football. He was a very pleasing person always going out of his way to make people happy because he couldn't be happy himself. Like your parents i have been to places Iv'e never been before myself like County Jails, Emergencies rooms etc. he also self medicated with weed/pills until some one sold him his first and last snort of Heroin. i see so many similarity. i have a hole in my heart that will never go away. Its almost been five years and i still feel his struggles today.

That a a beautiful, painful, poignant story that needed to be shared. Thanks Mark, and the Bell family for having the courage to go through the pain I am sure it took to make that. It sounds like there was a whole lot of wonderful to Mike Bell, as well, and you did a great job sharing that, as well. Prayers for the family, and Mike's memory.

My big brother passed away earlier this year as a consequence of his addiction. I can totally understand your dad's frustration. There's nothing like watching someone you love destroy themselves and hurt those who love them most. I remember watching your annual Mad Dog videos in years past; this one hit especially hard. Thank you for sharing your family's story.

Another year gone by. Mr. & Mrs. Bell, I truly believe that you did you part in raising good men, which is the main purpose of a parent in life, you gave them huge hapiness, a happy home, support and a lot of understanding, each of your children had their own way of being and living, bring joy and tears, and it's the good memories that matter, those happy moments together as a family which I know are full of funny stories and beautiful moments. I am very close to my mother and I honestly have prayed to God to take me before her, because I can't imagine her not being around to love and encourage her 3 kids, to say the words to help them go on, The only love that is the purest and most realest is the one from a Mother, Mike is in a better place, don't cry about that. Mr. Bell, please write a book, you whisdom brings peace and a way of seeing things in a very positive manner, I believe you were a great guide for your kids and encouraged and loved beyond your duty; and Chris, in no way you are a pussy man lol I have cried a million tears for my brothers, lived and laughed a ton too, and being 40 years old I look back at blurry images that bring smiles to my face, I am the middle one and I can't see any of them off my life, I am sure no one would ever think any of that so I will probably cry harder when God calls either of them, honestly no shame on that, and why are you saying that Mike didn't see Mark's success? He was smiling in joy and pride for his brother right down from heaven. I truly felt this video, thank you for updating us on how you are all doing and find confort and peace in eachother, Mark, you are a true champion and a great example, Mike, the big bro is really proud on what he passed on to you and Chris, so he lives in all of your family. Life is not cruel or unfair, nor is it even a gift or a blessing, it is forever neutral. Time stops for nobody, and it certainly will not stop for you. Love your friends and family with everything you have. Keep loving until your day finally comes, because it may come sooner than you think. Love, Peace and Respect to the Bell Family, may God always look after you and know he does things in his best wisdom.

I'm trying to think of the right thing to say here and i don't think there is a right thing to say. 2% of the population has diagnosed Bipolar disorder and here I am seeing pretty much my only example, Mike's a hero to me, Mark you're a hero to me, Chris you're a hero to me. Thank you, and your family for sharing, if not for you I'd have had nobody to learn from right in 2012 when I got my diagnosis. I want you to know that you're making a difference.
