The odds of getting school shooters on anti-depressants right in 1991 (like 8 years before Columbine) AND predicting a 9/11 event blamed on Bin Laden are way too much. There are government and corporate forecasters with entire teams and state of the art software and they're not that accurate.

​@@johnp7739Well there is schandals that give people like them some credit to their belief, no? Nine out of eleven, he was too paranoid however he was able to predict fairly understandble trends. A pill that wasn't used before used exstensively? There is a major problem. Like how pregnancy prevention medication selling like candy is indicitive of VERY big problems of crime, proverty, body pricing industries rise, and the like.

@@johnp7739 School shootings in the 80's were starting to become a big concern as well as a fears about anti depressants (not that they are necessarily to blame). Bin Laden was a known terrorist who threatened America previously. So you can give him credit but it's not like they were out of left field and he has had some wacky predictions to say the least.

@@kbm2055 Nope. I was in high school during the late 1980s and shootings weren't common at all. There was one in CA in 1989. The shooter, Patrick Purdy, was on antidepressants but almost no one was making the connection back then. (And yes, SSRI drugs are involved in practically every case). So that was extremely prescient of Cooper. Yes, some knew of Bin Laden before 9/11 but he was far from a household name. The timing of Cooper's prediction was the really surprising part. It's easy to use hindsight bias and "coincidence theory" but both predictions were startling given the evidence at the time.

@@johnp7739 Yep. I was in High School during the 80's as well. Wikipedia lists 67 shootings that decade. True they weren't in the national consciousness as today but they were known. Regarding SSRIs correlation is not causation. Disturbed individuals are often on meds- thats not a surprise. I'll take your word on making the connection FWIW. That Bin Laden was not a household name doesn't matter. If you followed the news closely you would know of him. Again I don't have problem with giving him *some* credit. But the fact remains he missed a lot and some of his ideas were out there to say the least.

I fear this man. The fact that he admitted that his information might be wrong is scary. Because that just means he's not crazy, he knows that some of it is outlandish. So he's in is right mind while speaking.

@@qru9046 it doesn't mean he's not crazy, and not being crazy doesn't even mean he actually believes what he's saying let alone is making sense. also there were school shootings before columbine, the twin towers were a known top target for terrorism and had already been attacked, and osama was well know in the media for attacking US embassies, including multiple targets on the same day. there's nothing special about the extrapolations he made and frankly it's the US government that is the most against world governance and international law, to the detriment of every one else.
