This finish is really killer! I think I won't be able to resist this one, even though I already have the Cobra blue SSS Ultra, and an HSS Fender HM Strat, as well as 18 other amazing guitars, but this one is just so cool. Damn you, Fender! LOL

(Hey, I'm first!) Just bought a second-hand American Pro strat, rosewood fingerboard, ash body in sienna sunburst (great grain). Plays really nicely. This amethyst finish is interesting -- I need to see one in person -- but my taste always leans to wanting to be able to see the wood grain through the finish.

Great video as always! I feel like I am the only one who thinks that Ultra is Fender's own version of Jackson classic heel contour, hahah! Obviously Fender owns Jackson and Charvel, It's about time they used that feature on the their "modern" series in Squire and Fender.

Back in the day 7.25 radius was held out as best for chording. Is the low action of the 10-14 radius necks also better for those who want an easy time chording?

It’s the best compromise for chording lower on the neck and playing single note lines higher up.

Hello. May I ask you a question concerning the Ultra Quadra Tap pickup? I ordered the guitar but I'm very surprised that the pickup is noisy in humbucker mode (i.e. with the S1 vol switch not pressed) - more so in the hot voicing mode (with the tone switch pressed). Surprisingly, the hum/noise goes away when I coil-tap it into the single-coil mode (i.e. press the S1 button)- which is the exact opposite to what I would expect. Normally, humbuckers cancel hum and vise versa. So I wonder if this is the design of the Quadra Tap or if I have a faulty piece? Thanks in andvance.

Send It Back and have them send you another One Don't Hesitate Its Fender LOL We love em but we gotta go through a few to get the good one unfortunately. I Purchased a Michael Landau Coma and the Saddles were buried so low but the action was still kinda High..(Weird) Also I notice a crack starting underneath the paint on the back Horn.. Rep at Fender Told me to send it back Answers my question why there are so many Michael Landau Guitars listed for sale as used mint...Don't hesitate to go through a few before you're satisfied...

D on the Ultra seems real thin so if your used to a more vintage feeling neck then maybe pass or try to find a store to try it..

Natural no paint just plain old natural wood rubbed down with turpentine and a little 90 weight gear oil mixed in to protect the wood.

I think fender just spit these guitars out Color choices in all models are so nasty... Where's the Candy Apple Red, , Yellow Those were Vintage Colors over the years .. Antiqua??? Oh my Goodness LOL And come on Fender Put some Customs Single Coils Texas Specials, Customs 60's (VINTAGE) to make them really different from the normal offerings.. I know I know They have trained us over the years to spend over 2K on pickups you don't like but you have to spend another $300 on Pickups to improve the sound. Horrible Honestly I think Fender should abandon Noiseless Pick ups all together.. So many hit records and tones we all seek come from Vintage Pickups, played on Tube Amps. Just my thoughts One example The 1980's THE STRAT Probably the best Strat Tone in 43 years....But now these new players can't have any noise and God forbid if they have to carry a TUBE AMP.. LOL What is American Guitar Players New generation coming to.??? Beta Men LOL

I don't know if its your amp setting but horribly spiking in a nasty high frequency,, Not sure about this one,,, honestly the worst sounding Noiseless I've ever heard... at least in this demo Playing is always great but if this is the sound that Fender is promoting then they are losing with the newer guitars, OVER 2K!!!!! For now I'll pass.. Maybe you should listen to this demo and maybe have a do over.. Very disappointing
