RIP Elijah... Some of the most innovative and creative designs were made by this man.

Isham in person is a weird cross of someone I could see being in the confederate army, and an eccentric dark artist. Practicality aside in some cases, I think he's the most exciting designer in knifemaking today. His newer designs are almost like concept cars. They're concept knives. Unlike a concept car, they can actually produce and sell them, which is pretty cool. The Eschaton looks like a knife someone would carry in Minority Report. Elijah is a fairly young guy. He has a long career ahead of him. I look forward to seeing what he makes.

So sad to watch this interview after the passing of Elijah. Seemed like a really talented artist. Certainly the knife designing guild are poorer with the departure of someone his ilk.

I think that Isham thinks outside the box and is shaking up knife designs. Not all are practical, but that can be said of many makers. I like the influence he is having on knife designers..

Man, Elijah seems like a very nice guy. Love his knives, I think the Black Star will be my way in to his work. I love the Megatherium, but my carry rotation has enough larger knives already, the Black Star is a perfect addition on the smaller side!!

hey guys I love your videos and I love knifes! I was wondering if you would do a knife banter on whittling? It is a subject i am interested in and I think lots of knife guys secretly don't know how to whittle, but want to learn. I came up with this idea when a close friend of mine, who I considered to be a very skilled outdoorsman, revealed that he was a terrible whittler and had never really learned. I would also be very curious to know which knife or knives you guys would recommend to whittle with.

I need some opinions, should i buy a north fork or should i save for another knife? If so which one? This will be my edc keep that in mind

I like his style of knifes. I get it there not for everyone as I can see a lot of complaints on here but you have to hand it to him he’s one hell of a knife designer. Iv been waiting for the WE Arrakis Carbon fiber one to come out but I lm only seeing them In the titanium and blue and gold and gray no Carbon fiber Yet. Any idea when the carbon fiber version is going to hit the market. ? As soon as I see one I’m grabbing it for my collection but I only like the carbon fiber one I just ordered the WE Pleroma in Carbon fiber so I want to Arrikas in Carbon fiber to go with it. I guess there saving the best for last.

To me his designs are way too radical for my tastes. I prefer minimalist designs with clean smooth lines but hey, that's just me. If you like 'em more power to you.

While I appreciate the makers and designers. Some things just aren't my taste. These knives look cool but I am more of a basic knife kind of guy. The style doesn't justify the price to me

I've come to enjoy Zack, but i wish Ben was here to be a practical voice of reason. I love good design! But design for just design's sake is inherently ugly. To each his own, of course, but some of these Picasso pieces are just art exercises.
