How do you describe New Zealand? I don't think there is anything we could put into words to give this place justice. It is insanely beautiful. Lush green vistas. Picturesque sunsets. Plentiful fish.
Upon arriving during New Zealands spring, we managed to squeeze in endless hikes throughout the Bay of Islands. A quick trip around Cape Brett and down the coast brought us to Whangarei. The place yachties come to haul their boats and do repairs. We were no exception after a long season crossing the pacific. New bottome\ paint, new sails, gelocoat repairs and so many little details needed attention.
Up next we sneak home for a much needed visit with our loved ones. Not to worry, the camera kept rolling albeit the bikinis stayed tucked in the back of the closet!
With Love,
Ben & Ashley

Umm, I'm giving that a big NO! :) Nice try! Another great video, awesome hike to the lighthouse, we loved it! Only bummer is having to wait (how many months?) until you get back to Nahoa and continue sharing your adventures! Meanwhile we'll have to make do with weekends anchoring around Santa Cruz and Anaapa Islands here in So Cal. Thanks for sharing! Kent and Megan, s/v My Sweet Girl

Phil Box + Great advice but that doesn't always work. I have trimmed mine back as far as they go but when you jump off a boulder and bang your toe...it sill hits the nail. I've been hiking for 10 years and there's no way around this when you do extreme things.

I hear ya. Yep, still hurts when ya ram your toe into a solid object regardless how long your toe nails are. Did that on a buried log in the sand on Fraser Island. @@SailingNahoa nah your slowing the speed of film down too much for 24p to play smooth that slow. When flying awesome locations, 60p let's you speed up and slow the film to move around and show the location...yet give a second to let the eye take it in once in the perfect spot. Try it. Turn down your resolution to 1080 at 60p. Then do 4k 24 p. Same shot, slow it...and you will see the difference:)
