Pastor Robert, you will never know what this sermon did in my life and my sons... my addict son, addicted for a decade and a half sent me this sermon this morning and said "Mom, this sermon is for both you and me." I can't even express what it meant to me. God is using you to do beautiful things in the lives of many and I am forever grateful! May God pour out His blessings on you and all that you do! This is EXACTLY what I’m STRUGGLING with r now!! I’ve been raging hard lately and it’s ruining my life. The closer I get to God, the more the enemy gets in my ear and gets me in the spiral…. I’ve been experiencing a straight up war in my head…. God spoke right to me thru you today. This is my new favorite. I’ve already watched this 3x today. My life was going in a fabulous direction. I had everything planned out. I was successful and basically led a charmed life until I got a rare neurological illness. I had to take a medical hiatus from my companies and eventually had to sell everything. It’s been 8 years now and I can no longer walk. Now I’m a single mom… it’s been a challenge but I had my stride, I was working thru it. Lately I’ve been unpacking my grief and childhood trauma and WHOA!!! Everything flipped upside down. The rage surfaces with the memories. But Ooooh…. Today the Lord spoke right to me. I believe this whole sermon was just for me today. Thank you🙏🏼🌸😇

The moment you start surrendering to the Almighty he doesn't like that. Keep your eyes fixed on God. He is your help and your salvation. Let Him take your struggles and He will deliver you. @@elevationchurchone of the things I took away from that sermon is our expectation of how we think a "solution" to a problem ought to be and our reaction to it. We are never too "high and mighty " to take advice from some one below us. Never assume...another thing is "what makes us angry" That was a biggie for me. It is truly impossible to function in wisdom and anger at the same time. Proverbs 14:29

@@psilva7684 yes my church talks about the importance of repenting for our sins. The bible talks about going to God and confessing our sin because it's the only way we will be forgiven for our transgression. The wages of sin is death but the gift of life is eternal life with God. He tells us if we need to have that eternal life we ought to be free of sin. However as you know we were born in sin but if we read God's word on a daily basis we will see how He wants us to live our life. He instructs us in ways that emulates Him and how we should be with one another He is love and He Is faithful. Every time we fall we get up repent and try again.

Wow God is amazing. I literally just cried the night saying I was giving up on my dream cuz it wasn't going the way I thought. I tune in this morning at work and this incredible message with just the best delivery hit me. I'm not too proud to say God just tapped me. I felt loved! It didn't hurt but boy did I just turn around. Repented and rededicated to my faith that He WILL deliver me my promise on HIS time HIS way. So glad I've got tickets to elevation nights in Boston this Thursday. I'm expecting another breakthrough and blessing! Amen Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah 🤓

More and more God shows up to my seeking and I mean seeking him with my whole broken heart. I've been asking him to guide me, to help me surrender my children to him, to show me what to do for my broken and grief stricken family, to show me a way where I don't see a way. To have faith and believe that he WILL sew my little family back together after losing my 29 year old to an accidental overdose and The deviation and brokenness that brings. The parenting portion of this message spoke to me immensely. I'm a broken mom who's doing her best with the 2 children I am blessed to have. Thank you GOD for these amazing pastors & church. Be blessed.

I can barely put into words how badly I needed this message… The one year anniversary of my fiancé’s freak accident that took his life was last week… He was only 31… I’m pretty sure that I have around 69 more years left on this earth of life as I never imagined it…🥺 I’ve had an entire year of going off, but this message makes me feel like I should start looking for my new purpose… how I can use my experience of losing 7 loved ones in the last 2 years to figure out what I’m supposed to be doing…❤️‍🩹
