Thanks for the nice reports on Belarus. I went there twice last year and saw some of your video's before. It was a good preparation for my tour, thanks! I liked Minsk, Vitebsk and Brest so much that I also spent New Year 2019/2020 in Minsk. Beautifull city and very nice people. I speak a little Russisan and that als is very helpfull to talk with people on the street. Thanks again and I hope tot come back when this Corona-trouble is over. Greetings from the Netherlands!

where are you from? i highly doubt you’re from the united states since you said you have social anxiety. the united states is full of confident people unlike the rest of the world. since balds channel is a travel channel there seems to be a lot of ppl from different countries who watch bald and comment on his videos. and a lot of those ppl talk ab how they have poor social skills and how balds social skills are really good. and tbh, balds social skills are at best, average.. 😂 come to the united states and you’ll see real confidence.

At 4:27 those two young guys having their arms around each other's neck is perfectly normal in Russia and most other Eastern European countries. I remember growing up in Romania as a teenager we did the same thing, it was nothing more than a gesture of love between good friends. I was born, and grew up in Montreal, Canada. A lot of old apartments pre-1940s like the ones I was raised in STILL had those old elevators functioning. These elevators are quite an experience!

10 seconds in and I was laughing - you come out of quarantine to find a dude looking dead on the steps, I would have gone back in and locked the door! Plus Claustrophobia to Agoraphobia to claustrophobia again in the moments before exiting the building. At least one of us is having fun

That was a mixed bag of emotions for me. A good laugh at the beginning, but then I wasn't sure what to feel. The money was a wonderful gesture. I'm not so sure about the booze.

Im from a former comunist country (slovakia) as well, but man, we cannot be further from adoring the soviets than these other sssr countries. Soviet and Nazi propaganda is forbiden and punished by law. I like your videos, its interesting to see other countries from a perspective of a simple, open minded man. Keep going blin :)

How are things in Slovakia? I was going to go on a road trip (Krakow to Budapest) across the EU to see countries along the way, and Slovakia (Bratislava and Nyitra) is where 3/4 of my family is from. Sadly, this was cancelled due to covid

@@SumSum030 Most of the restaurants/bars/schools are closed, social and cultural activities are stopped and people are slowly getting crazier 😄 Like in all countries around us, id say. Bcs all of this our sick/death ratio is not so high. Hope you can travel soon, my wife is from Nitra and im from Bratislava, so cannot say anything wrong about these places 😄

I was in Kyrgyzstan in Feb for a month and lockdown was done in Sept I believe. No masks, people all over the place, and nobody sick! I hadn't see a group of stranger in almost a year! There numbers were low too that after having their peak outbreaks in summer.

Here in the USA we had great Memorial Day Parades that ended in cemeteries where services were held. This country was a very proud, and almost everyone shared the feeling.
