What’s the “The Covenant” movie about?
While the Spenser High School prom in Ipswich is in full swing, Caleb (Steven Strait from 10,000 BC) and his three friends have other interests. Descendants of the families that founded the town in the witching days of Salem, they are experimenting with the magical powers they secretly inherited at the age of thirteen. When the body of a student is discovered in the early morning hours after succumbing to what appears to be an overdose, Caleb and his friends are immediately suspected of having something to do with it. Sarah Wenham (Laura Ramsey from She's the Man), a newcomer, has an even harder time fitting in. She also has the constant feeling that someone or something is spying on her. More than ever, Caleb and his friends must be on guard and protect the ancient secret that binds them. They all know that every time they use their fascinating powers, they age prematurely. The arrival of a new one, Chase Collins (Sebastian Stan from Captain America and I, Tonya), will put everything in question...
