The most amazing thing to me about this song done by The Cowsills with their amazing harmony is it gives you exactly what you need whenever you listen to it. Happiness, sadness, grief... any feeling can be triggered depending on what you are feeling at the time. It's what makes it timeless.

Back about 1989 here in Vancouver BC, I was downtown and saw someone on stage finishing his ser. When I got close enough I recognized who it was, Billy Cowsill. I came up to the edge of the stage, Billy saw me, came over, got down low enough so we could shake hands and chat for a few minutes. One thing he said was to thank me for remembering him and his family. It was nice meeting him.

If you were as lucky as me and got to see them multiple times in concert back in the day, the vocals sounded as good as the record..maybe better. No autotuning, no high tech production, just pure talent!

So sad you want to take away the innocence of the pure in heart for they shall see God the Lord God Jesus that formed as a potter not like them those that loveth and maketh a lie .
