This reminds me of me and my brother back in the day. I threw a stick of wood and hit my brother and he chased me up a tree swinging an electrical cord at me making contact. I was screaming like I was dying.. I was such a spoiled brat. It was a wonder he even liked me at all. Nothing like big brothers tho.

Has it come anywhere near Lester's trap? That coyote is brave and smart or just has really dumb luck. He must have learned how to get by traps like yours when he was younger.

Maybe try one of the box traps for the coyote? It's just a suggestion I don't know if it will work though.
