The next sleeper we want to build will be a 1978 Mini Minor panel van, with a mid mount built 2007 Subaru WRX STI motor, along with the AWD running gear. Looking forward to getting started on this build, something different.

Do you mean a Morris Traveller, or a Mini van ? If you mean a Traveller I'd suggest a Rover V8 then twin turbo it and add the NOS. It's an old school conversion but works really well

Honda Jazz/Fit Si, single turbo K20 swap, with an AWD drivetrain swapped in. All stock body work, different coloured front wheel arch and some '92 EG Civic style wheels for that true s#*tbox feel! No one would suspect a thing, then they hear you brake boosting aaaaand.. you're gone 😂

For me, the best ultimate sleeper is Volvo 245 with a 2JZ engine swap and big single turbo producing about 1000 bhp. To make it inconspicuous, the whole body is slightly bruised, some rust, and ordinary steel rims from the production era.

My ultimate sleeper idea, hellephant motor in a base 06 to 10 base dodge charger and 2JZ GTE with twin turbos into Mitsubishi mighty max pick up truck. Those are my dream sleeper 😍😍😍

I knew a guy back in Pennsylvania in the early '70s who had a Greenbrier pickup truck (Corvair for you young guys) that he swapped in an LT1 350 and a Powerglide transmission with a Vega torgue converter, which was the early high stall speed convertor. It was dangerous because when he nailed the throttle the front end would come waaaay off the ground and go left or right or who knew which direction it was going to end up? What made it such a sleeper was that he used to drag race it with the factory motor with 2 old golden ram glasspack mufflers on it and he ran the same old mufflers behind that Vette motor & at first nobody knew the difference until the front end was way in the air scaring everyone.

The best sleeper has to be some kind of minivan. The coolest sleeper I ever saw was a Pontiac Montana with an LS4 in it. I'd love to put a bike engine in something small and light though. Imagine getting gapped by a Fiat 500 😂

Tarago van v8 in Sydney Australia I pulled up next ti him and seen him blow the doors off of a worked rx7 and the van had all his plumbing gear on it ladders and pipes and the dam thing gapped the rx7 by 100yards easily Q this day it's the best sleeper I have seen as no one would expect t a tragic van to have such grunt Apparently pac-man performance had something 2 do with it but this thing was a beast I just wish I didn't break the camera I recorded it with otherwise I'd post it

A sleeper means unexpected fast on the street, at traffic light, etc, and that is possible ONLY if that car is AWD. Otherwise that pseudo-sleeper will be fast only in certain specific conditions of weather, surface, etc.
