The FNCS Invitational came down to a 1v1 between Veno and Kami to decide the championship. Was Veno and Queasy's choice to land on Kami and Setty the right play? Did Veno choke the tournament or was there something more?
This was one of the biggest moments and most important fights in Fortnite History

Every1 says that the spot where u cant build lost Queasy and Veno the tourney. But if he waited for Veno after he killed Setty and did not open on Kami they could've went as a duo on him. That would've been a smarter option. They could get an easy clean up on Kami and be fully stacked. But I respect the play.

Also comes down to drop spot knowledge. Kami knows you can't build there. You take the fight on their turf you're at a disadvantage. Can't just say it's Fortnites fault.

Yeah they could have done that but they probably weren’t thinking rationally at that time because of the pressure of being 1st place but i don’t really know what there mentality was when they started playing the tournament. But at the end of the day people make mistakes and that’s ok and i hope veno and queasy learned from their mistakes at that tournament because maybe next lan they might win

Setty and Kami won that fight because of dropspot knowledge, Queasy and Veno probably didn’t know that you couldn’t build there but Kami and Setty did

@aussieantics I just realized that after queasy drops Veno mats while he’s knocked, Veno pulls out his build menu on the wall where you can’t build, and it shows the red around the wall. He ends up using those mats to build a stair below kami while kami is healing, but he did also have an opportunity to realize it in the moment, not just dropspot knowledge. Time is right around 6:00, and it’s obviously being a little nitpicky, but he did at least have a chance. It could also have only shown from the replay pov, and the build outline wouldn’t show from an in-game perspective

It was unarguably the right play imo. Even WITH beating them, Veno and Queasy wouldn't have won automatically, a small error in their standard game could've been just as much the reason they lost, and trying to go against Kami and Setty's consistency will always be risky. So yes, it was 10000% the right play. If they had won, I am sure that even past the annoyance, Kami and Setty would be able to admit that as well, plus it gave us probably the most exciting fight in Fortnite's History and another historical bit of casting.

Bro if you watch when they traded shots at the end Veno’s character lagged to the right as if it was bugged… He was actually supposed to win that exchange… He hit the first shot on Kami so his shotgun delay should’ve allowed him the second shot not Kami… The fortnite bugs cooked a 1st place finish

Kami got lucky asf... He fucked up his drop, he farmed the wall for some materials, accidentaly placed his ramp BEHIND him and went for a 50/50. And then Veno missed one shot on him. So much luck in this one clip, it's insane. Ggs to kami but he should've died judged by the number of mistakes he made in his own POI...

When your in the moment you wouldn't think that. You would try and eliminate the other one instead of waiting because to his knowledge kami could've had a better load out or picked up mats.
