- About Best Fern:
Best Fern is the ambient-pop duo of Alexia Avina and Nick Schofield. Formed in winter 2016 as neighbours in Montreal’s Mile End neighbourhood, they create airy compositions with breathy vocals and watery synths.
Their latest LP, "Earth Then Air" was released by Backward Music/Youngbloods in 2023. Listen here: bestfern.bandcamp.com/album/e...
- About "The Creative Process"
The Creative Process is an irregularly scheduled conversation series with working artists and music industry insiders, hosted by Jeremy Young, that touches on advice and strategies for the modern musician culled from our guests' experiences and successes throughout their careers. These Q&As are initially broadcast on Crowdcast with a private Soundfly subscriber-only audience, and feature questions partially generated from our community on Discord, before being published here.
