This area is part of the glacier lake that once was here. It spanned North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota. So it makes sense about it having quick sand spots all over the park. It is a beautiful park but the natives in that area would NEVER go near that area.

Back in the 70s some young kids went to this place and were never heard or seen again. My brother-in-law from that area says no native american goes near that place bc there's places that quick sand like spots that appear then reappear in different spots throughout the park. It was goven the name sica(pronounced shecha)

I didn't see anything in the background of your video except trees and lots of rolling hills. Thanks for taking us along!
