"Baby Momma", "Baby Daddy". Stupid words made and used by stupid people. Self-respecting lawyers shouldn't ever use words that make you sound like uneducated children.

Agree. Combining the words “baby momma” or “baby daddy” is literally describing a characteristic about the “baby” or the “momma” and the “daddy”. It’s completely unclear. So…are they saying the “baby” is a “momma” or a “daddy”. Or…are they saying the “momma” and the “daddy” are both “a baby”. Either, or…is stupidly ridiculous and sounds so “uneducated”. But as you so eloquently stated it “stupid words made and used by stupid (and I’ll add: “uneducated”) people”.

A teacher that choked a 14 year old student, resigning from his job would be a given with ZERO ability to teach or work with minors. He is a danger to everyone, if he beats up and chokes a student where will his rage take us all next. What a coward, choking a 14 year old student, does he beat up little old ladies also. I can't believe his lawyer had the nerve to lecture the judge on sentencing guidelines. The 14 yr old probably didn't get physically harmed but the psychological damage will take alot of future medical care.

I wouldn't give him the satisfaction of resigning, I would have had the police deliver his notice that he is fired immediately.

The lawyer for the defendant that choked the child was amazing. I’d like to hear more about that case tho. I’ve seen way too many videos of children getting physical with teachers, for me just to throw him away off of a police report. I need to know what the child did

I saw the video of that 14 yr old provoking the teacher. I’m a bus driver and I see what 14-year-olds can do George Simpson what would you do if a 14 year year-old struck you first?

And exactly where do you drive your bus sir, I'm sure your boss, and the children's families would like to know a 14 year old triggers your emotions to the point of violence against minors. Poor poor bus driver.

Any parent who has children who are in their teens should understand how one can be provoked to respond to a smug bratty mouthy little punk because all teenagers in one way or another can hit our nerves. I have many times have had to hold back at confronting in a violent manner. Don’t act like 14 year olds are young innocent children,. Unfortunately this teacher just didn’t hold back and made a wrong decision. I don’t really blame the teacher 100% because again why was he provoked? He should have held back but these kids today are little shitz at times and we as parents are the ones to raise them correctly and let them know there are consequences for their actions/behavior! Obviously this man had good intentions wanting to make a difference and help society’s future by becoming a teacher. Unfortunately he snapped and now he is paying for his actions but he is not an evil person imo. Nobody was there to make such harsh criticism but I don’t think he is a bad guy, even if it were my son!

He's done this job and that job but nothing sticks. That's a problem. But i admit, his lawyer almost had me fooled. The defendant needs to be confined for the safety of the public and the ones he hurt. At the end of this, his sentance will be a punishment. Not a saving grace for him, but a life saver to others.

🤔 In the first case, does the video show the entire altercation or just the part where the 14 year old is an innocent victim - the two week gap between incident and complaint does allow more than enough time for the video to be doctored/ cropped. I've volunteered in schools, and I've seen what "On Call" Teachers have to deal with (On Call is a term used in UK State Schools for Teachers who are specially trained to use physical force to deal with dangerous students).

Wow, the subject was 2 minutes late, he issues a warrant for arrest? Wow! Ive been 10 minutes late. They called my case. Fortunately for me, I notified my attorney and the court to let them know I was running a bit late. At the time, the court at which I was to appear was on the opposit side of town from where I lived. (I had to rely on public transit, that trip required 3 transfers. Long story short, it was a 25 mile trip, which, by car could take 20-45 minutes depending on the traffic. By bus, it turned into a 3 hour "adventure" (one way) just to get to the court house. I had to make that trip at least a half dozen times before my case was resolved. I now have a car, my case has been resolved and my probation requirements have been satisfied. I DO NOT miss that one bit! That was 11 years ago. I believe I learned my lesson because I NEVER want to go thru that again.

If it was someone who's "of age", he might have considered reducing the bond. Howecer, being what it is, I knew right away it was going to be "motion denied " However, I've noticed Judge J Cedric doesn't reduce a defendant's bond amount very often. Although I've seen him RAISE a person's bond amount. Lol

In Canada, teachers have specialized assistants to help students needs. They will read and scribe for students. So, in this situation, there would be a worker to write for that student. Lacking an aide (specialized worker), then teacher would scribe for student.

That's such an incorrect view of Judge Simpson. You Need to watch his cases more. He truly cares. But sometimes, a punishment is the only way to get the message through to him and others like him. Please ho watch more 9f his cases. Judge Simpson is consistant. He gives clear explanations and he wears the crown as the decision maker. His job is NOT easy.

31:57 I used to live in Michigan, and am a recovering addict/alcoholic. Let me just tell you, Oakdale Recovery is the absolute worst rehab I’ve ever been to and unfortunately I’ve been to several. Oakdale was more like being in jail than rehab. No calls, you cannot use the phone there. I believe it was after 14 days to reach out for a visit. Then during the off time you’re locked in this cheap gym with like 50 other addicts. It’s more like a looney bin posing as a rehab.
