50:23 What the hell was that? This isn't the beer mile. Why the fuck did she look like a drunk sprinting.
8 жыл бұрын
have u ever done this dude? just try it and upload a video of your final sprint and then well see
@jeremyschlichting8238 жыл бұрын
No I haven't done this, I'm not going to lie. I'm more of a cross country and track type. I've tried lifting heavy before my runs and I'll say I do go slower but I've never fallen over. I've still run sub 6 minute mile tempo workouts after a hard gym workout.
@NLF027 жыл бұрын
Just did it yesterday. 41:54. Its really sucked. But to be honest. It was not that hot as it was back then. I also did the row and doubleunders indoor. and I also didn't had the increase in the run. but still i am quite good with cardio workouts. so about 38 min under those conditions is really good. really don't get how Rob did it in 33.
@David-ud9ju6 жыл бұрын
It's not difficult to maintain reasonable form on your sprint. She just had rubbish technique and went too hard too soon.

"The uploaded hasn't made this video available in your country." Ummm this is America. We should have everything. Always. Forever. Cuz we're the best... At crossfit anyway 😃

Which is ironic considering for this event you're commenting on the male winner was Australian and the female winner was Norwegian
@jacklewis629810 жыл бұрын
Its because espn have rights, so you have to watch it via that

I used to listen to crossfitters for rowing advice..and then I stopped. Commentators just said Sager is using too much legs on the rower 😀. Can you have too much legs in rowing?
@klaasg43783 жыл бұрын
Maybe because they still had to do the dubble unders and the run. I don't know but could be?
@calebwany84223 жыл бұрын
That's some commentator level of intellect at play there.
@tessaofhyrule3 жыл бұрын
Its even funnier when you listen to the 2019 games and they talk about how you should use more legs and power through with them :P

@jakobholmhansen57239 жыл бұрын
Clueless commentators, Rich didn't cramp and you don't "hit the wall" on a 5k. He was just in a lousy aerobic shape.
@WorldSoundVibes6 жыл бұрын
Jakob Holm Hansen you forgot about the 3000 meter row and 300 double unders lol
@jhssuthrnmama5 жыл бұрын
Just heard a great interview with Rich where he said that he had a choice: walk or pass out. He chose to walk. The next year in this same heat with another mega-endurance event, he said some of the competitors chose "pass out" and it destroyed their games, so he's still happy with his choice.

You were saying...
@David-ud9ju6 жыл бұрын
Rich Froning can't even run, but he won the games that year and gets to call himself the "fittest man on earth". This shows the overemphasis on brute strength that the crossfit games has. If Crossfit wants to be taken seriously and actually wants to have the fittest men and women on Earth, they need to significantly lower the weights that are required to be lifted, so that smaller more agile, athletic, faster, more endurance based people can compete who are actually the fittest on Earth.
@DanielBertelsen19945 жыл бұрын
David if rich can lift more compared to how much faster they can tun than him... he is fitter
@douglasakerlundcf30524 жыл бұрын
David omg do You know how stupid You sound
@alexandrejacob89583 жыл бұрын
The real question is who is the most qualified to balance the events between strength and endurance exercises... Maybe the fittest on earth in someones reference are weightlifters!
@calebwany84223 жыл бұрын
He's not a god, he'll have some weaknesses.
@shantilus2 жыл бұрын
Watch every year, events change. The competitions are diverse and change it up year to year so that competitors can't focus for the games. No need to hate. Start your own fitness program and create your own wold wide competition...
@TylerJStone Жыл бұрын
You would think, in the 21st century, that the t.v. commentators wouldn't have to be competing with the asshole in the background. SURELY, somebody in the CrossFit world has the wherewithal to block out that background noise!!
