Matt Fraser got shafted by that judge on the ring hand stand push ups.
@danielmoth89178 жыл бұрын
Agreed. His first reps in his later sets were clearly no reps. But every time he went up she fucked him over at least once.
@JohnnyWooh8 жыл бұрын
the mental strength required to cope with that and just soldier on. what a beast.
@danielmoth89178 жыл бұрын
+Hot Shotski The commentator clearly stated on a no rep. But his legs Are straight. That should not have been a No rep. On his last or second to last rep.
@joshuabarber6388 жыл бұрын
yes i agree it appeared that he did more of a regular push up then a handstand push up. but either way incredible performance
@adamthorsson7 жыл бұрын
jupp the judge were giving out reps like it was christmas.... his first set omg... Not a single good rep... judge had no guts to call him on it...

I like how they show and broadcast the demo team.

They’re playing “Ecstasy of Gold” from the Good the Bad and the Ugly right before the men’s heat 4! Lol that’s awesome

❤️ If only they’d stop talking so we can enjoy it! That’s be the most motivating song to hear right before starting a competition.
@flareshiftt8 жыл бұрын
Commentators really should stop overstating things. 'Aside from some no-reps, this has been flawless'. That literally means: 'He wasn't flawless, but if he did things flawless, he was flawless'.

You know what you’re right let’s bring in more boring commentary on once a year events
@deeshmond7 жыл бұрын
no consistency at all in the judging of those ring HSPU
@thapeloafrika64593 жыл бұрын
Matts first set of ring HSPU were mainly no reps, the judge only started calling it correctly when the main judge intervened for the second set
@benjaminscully7168 жыл бұрын
Fraser would have won without that judge
@johannesbaden3182 Жыл бұрын
His judge forgot whos the Protagonist on the Stage
@ShyaninkitchenASMR8 жыл бұрын
The judge is killing matt fraser.
@NickLiang8 жыл бұрын
The standards are terrible. Matt Frazer looked like he was doing a press up rather than a HSPU the whole time.

That's how Lucero won too but everyone considered that smart #doublestandards

Till this day probably the stupidest movement crossfit ever had
@DragonFlipster8 жыл бұрын
The RHSPU are crap. You can basically bend your core so that your legs don't have to move at all. Pshhh.
@joshuabarber6388 жыл бұрын
yes looking at it it seems like a bad movement and not to functional. way to much stress on the back. Instead why not increase their balance and do handstandpushups w/o a wall
@ralphdejoya76908 жыл бұрын
josh bridges is the man. . most bad ASS Crossfit athlete
@illbeyourfriend35557 жыл бұрын
I don't know but I dislike him in a way. Probably because I'm autistic but I just hate how bad his form is in some events or how he didn't put his barbell right at the last burpees. He's a beast for sure but I wonder how his spine still does what it does. (talking about the heavy deadlift for example)
@ashjudd4 жыл бұрын
1:27:44 that's real. I was in ok shape but the everyone at the box was cool and and instructors encouraged us to go at our own pace.
@djsgolfer7142 жыл бұрын
This event is frustrating. Fitness shouldn’t depend on the judges this much. I’m mostly impressed in how the athletes keep their cool with the variable judging
@GRIIMMJAQUES8 жыл бұрын
Fraser's a badass
@Andy-un2th8 жыл бұрын
Ring handstand pushup are ridiculous and is just a flashy movement. Its not fun to watch at all and its a useless movement. I love Crossfit but watching silly movements like this is painful.
@barryodonovan38098 жыл бұрын
It's all about seeing if the athletes can adapt to a new movement with no preparation and under pressure... Very easy to be good as something you've practiced
@elgato498 жыл бұрын
+Barry O'Donovan Ring hspu is fine but when done at nearly 10 feet in the air in a very competitive environment, more like daredevil stuff.
@MrCliffhanger445 жыл бұрын
Just seems extremely dangerous
@Minitrenkuss8 жыл бұрын
please, stop saying fraser would have win with another judge, the exercise is called Ring Hand Stand Push Ups, and they bend their core to literally do a ring bench press....

What a bullshit idea to have the rings 2 meters above the ground for the men (neck breaker?!)! Also too many reps in a row! Hardly anybody has done one correct HSPU! The men should have done the same workout as the women.
@guillermotijerino Жыл бұрын
Beautiful invention 😅
@STCC8 жыл бұрын
WTF are these scorpion like pushups Frasier is doing? Surely they can't count. Seems like the standard is lock your elbows out, all else doesn't matter.
@chippygavo84758 жыл бұрын
standard is touch rings to shoulder and then lock out your elbows and you cannot use your legs to grip and pull yourself up
@marjensendk8 жыл бұрын
So it was a ring pushup with feets flying around. Many of the girls did some nice handstand pushups, but the men was just horrible to watch.

@francescobelloni17498 жыл бұрын
How is it possible Matt fraser reps are good and ben Smith aren't? This is too much in the hands of different judges and personal interpretation of movements that are going to be different depending on the body structure? This event was a joke
@Jamesatighe8 жыл бұрын
+Jeb Jub exactly. Bridges and Fraser's reps were hardly 'handstand' push-ups! There was practically no handstand. I don't think Fraser could have been more arched if he tried.
@craigherbert258 жыл бұрын
+Jeb Jub think you mean horizontal

This is the most stupid thing I've ever seen. It's too subjective. None of the judges are consistent, it changes from rep to rep.

It blew my mind how many athletes sucked at the RHSPU. I’m no CFG athlete but fuck I can do them better than that.
