His chat began to be depicted as a flock of crows on the Dream SMP, and it's even cannon in the lore of the server! You can check the wiki for the full explanation, but Phil HIMSELF said that his chat on the DSMP are actually crows that only HE can understand, so yeah!!

Unrelated note: I really hope that when they start to make lore, Techno will eighter be a full on villian so we can have the "hero n' villian duet" angst or a full on hero so he will fight along side Phil :3 or just neutral, it'd be cool to keep the "attack only if agrivated" chain
