This was one of the best shows on TV when i was a lad. I loved the presenter and his quirky eccentric ways also. It's being made again so lets hope it lives up to the great show of the past.

I could just keep looking at Richard and his tactics. 😍😁 One of my fav. shows during my childhood .. and I started watching it a few years after Richard O'Brien left the show , I guess. His voice and way of talking is so sweet.

"You're what's known in the trade....as a wimp"! Gotta love Richard lol

This team is a great example of the need to have confidence and follow through once you've figured out the room! Julia is the only person who understands the need to hustle the whole time. Richard gives them the most snarky quips but he also gives the most hints and explanations in this episode! It didn't help because of the one thing he couldn't teach them: if you have only 10 seconds left but the crystal and door are both in sight, you focus hard and GET THE CRYSTAL.

My favourite part of this show is the absolute pointless crap the rest of the team shout through the door. Top ones this ep are ‘take your time’ six times during the same challenge and ‘positive thinking’ when trying to complete a puzzle

Growing up in Australia I had no idea what this show was but English friends rave about it during their childhoods and how great it was. I found this incredibly infuriating to watch, but maybe that's the fun - the fact everyone is an idiot? I dunno how this Richard guy put up with this stupidity. He is the saving grace of this show.

Am I the only one who keeps shouting at these contestants and get frustrated when they seem to take unnecessarily long time for simple activities or miss obvious clues 🤣😂 Off course easier to watch from TV but they could easily have had minimum 10 crystals 😄

It was only bad team playing right at the end that prevented Brett from getting the crystal. This also happened in a very recent episode too.

I'm confused by the ending on this - I thought a final score higher than 50 but less than 100 won them their second-tier choice of prizes? Or was that only in series 1, and the rules were changed for series 2? To Bruise Violet: thanks indeed for all your uploads. Screaming “out! OUT!” Is so unhelpful. Do a countdown. That guy would have hit the crystal under the bell if they counted him down rather than screamed at him as if the clock was on zero.

Some teams have one or two members who are useless under pressure... this team, it's the majority of them.

From now on, every room SHOULD have a auto-locking mechanism on every door. That way, the contestant wouldn't be able to bail out. Fail a minigame? Too bad. You're stuck, now your teammates have two decisions to make: relinquish one crystal to bail him/out or leave him/her behind and keep the crystals.

Ok .... Have I got you this time? All the other Chris Gilbert's will think I'm mad!

This is the slowest group I've seen

the host has never been this helpful (spelling everything out) to other teams, and he was here from the get-go, not stopping. He also was not sarcastic or joking as he usually is, very straightforward with minimal acting. This leads me to think maybe some of them did have diagnoses or hidden disability, that had been disclosed prior. It would also explain why this episode is so frustrating for us to watch.
