For a long time, 'The Cure' was just some "emo band" that the girl I used to buy off was always listening to whenever I went over, but in the years since, they've become a favorite of mine too, and a band I genuinely love. Thanks for the memories and the great journey, dudes 🤗

Summer 1992 I had just turned seventeen, school was over and I was at home for the summer holidays, I remember this video that was very often shown on a TV channel of the time called Videomusic, I didn't have any of their records yet, so the TV and a small radio cassette player, were the only means I had to see and hear this wonderful song. Seeing it again today in 2021 makes me feel a great nostalgia for those carefree times, whose long and sunny afternoons seemed empty to me and I did not realize instead how unique and unrepeatable they were, when I was still surrounded by people I loved and who today unfortunately they are gone.

People who know the depths of depression have a unique understanding of the hights of joy. In my experience having been at extremely low points when I am feeling truely happy and loved there is nothing close to it. There's something about their music that captures that true joy so beautifully

To me this song means he’s seeing one of his friends get high and he is jealous that he can’t get as high as him and also the other person is carefree and just cool . Imaging being someone that Robert thought was cool
