Last May 17, 2013 I lost my husband and best friend. This song has played over and over. All I have is pictures of him left. We were married for almost 20 years and he suffered greatly in the end. The pictures are truly all I can feel now. This is a wonderful song. Thank you for it, Robert Smith.

One of my faves. Hurts a little because my wife of 36 years passed on Thanksgiving day in 2008. She saved my life in so many ways. It's still hard to accept that stars that burn twice as bright may only burn half as long. But her beautiful light still shines in our two daughters, two sons, five granddaughters, and two grandsons. I lost my wife in 2020. We were high school sweethearts. We’ve been together for over 25 years. And every time I play this music, it reminds me of her. She loves taking pictures of us and our family. She even took photography class in high school and learned how to develop film. I miss her so much.

Yes, this is the best version of Pictures of You that they have presented, it's epic, it's cinematic, I think the string pads in the keyboards make the difference, very different form the synth pads of the studio version. My favorite Cure song ever.

This tour that summer of 92, was the final concert, final gathering of my high school years clich of friends. Only two friends weren't there. And the one friend who wasn't died two years earlier, she turned me onto the Cure. The other was a best friend who had since relocated to another state. He helped deepen my interests in the Cure.. Lifelong fan. So much appreciation for this band and its music. The Beatles of alternative music in my humble opinion. Thank you.

My college sweetheart and I used to play and sing The Cure's songs on guitar together. I remember when we saw The Cure at Madison and it was the peak of our love. We were on fire. We were like twins in all things and absolutely were in love with each other. Never did I dream how significant this song would become after we broke up years later and how we met our significant others later in life. I have no regrets. And I don't think he does either. Every so often when I hear this song and many other Cure's songs, I can't help but smile and remember our time together, and wonder if he still does too. Much love to anyone who reads this.

THE greatest band nobody's ever heard of! seen 'em at great woods,awesome show.mother nature even helped with a passing thunderstorm light show thunderstorm with no rain! it was if Jah decided to lend a hand.couldn't have been better, don't recall if I was trippin' but the occasion felt like it,it was that good. I know that this is one hell of a band that never seemed to turn to pop( or poop). most things -people, places,let u down but the cure never did! wish I'd heard about the40th anniversary movie that came out under cover of darkness but I've been living under a rock as they say.
