keep in mind that (if my memory serves me correctly) this is from the encore of the trilogy shows so that means that the band had already played 3 ENTIRE ALBUMS before unleashing this monster. they always perform with such intensity, except for the few shows where Robert gets smashed! hahah.

This has to be the most powerful openning track for any album ever! And, as shown here, it worked wonderfully as the closing song of this concert, as well. Robert is one of the most underrated guitarists, but it doesn't matter, because he works to make emotive and profound music... a pure genious.

l saw this band live once and they blew my face away. Particularly with this song. Its ridiculously heavy with those distorted wah wah guitars and the keyboards leading a final crescendo and Smiths voice says it all A masterpiece in rock id say

I feel privileged to have seen this song performed live at several gigs. Usually they play If Only Tonight We Could Sleep before Robert rolls up his sleeves an summons the ghost of Jimi Hendrix to guide his guitar on this track.

This is utterly amazing. Its quite hard to believe that this comes from the same album as just like heaven and why cant i be you.

i remember when I was a kid, my older brother used to play this *really* loud in his bedroom, with the door shut. I thought, "what the hell is this noise?". I just didn't get it. Not long after, I borrowed the Kiss Me album from him. It blew me away. I saw them at Wembley on the Kiss Me tour. They blew me away again. I've never looked back. What a band.

Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me was my first cure album. It is by far one of my favorites. I truly discovered its beauty when I dropped acid and listened to it. If you do the same, grab the album cover and stare at the eyeball on the back and watch it dilate over and over... everything about them is pure acid rock with a morbid twist... there are so many layers of sound to be heard.

ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW! Sounds better now than when they first released it! When life would take a turn for the worse, I'd jump in my car and put this song on as loud as I could without blowing the speakers. I'd then take a drive along the beach..Worked every time! You guys STILL ROCK!

I was in the front row in Birmingham NEC when they were touring the Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me album for the first time. There was a big curtain with huge lips which suddenly dropped and this was the first song, Robert Smith right in front with that huge guitar intro - amazing and still love this song.

when i went away to college in 1988 and cd's were becoming popular, i purchased my first compact disc, which happened to have a big kissy pair of lips on the cover. i remember loving the cd and playing it many times that semester in school far from home, and i remember great tracks, like torture and fight. but the best track on it was the kiss and THIS live version is so much better over and again on top of how incredible the original is i almost cant stand it.

I always wonder why I never listened to the Cure in the 80's and 90's. Better late than never.
