@@leotheskyguy what if you're stranded on a deserted island. What three Cure album would you want to have. Mine's Kiss me..., Faith, and maybe the Top. Disintegration is alright but it's just this one atmosphere. Strange that I picked albums with different drummers.

This is my favorite song of all time. The multiple melodies and chords simultaneously occuring, combined with the classic Cure storyline. Purple Rain, Stairway to Heaven and a couple others are close... but i could listen to Untitled 20,000 times and still love it

I think The Cure added this lovely song as a balm for your soul after listening to Disintegration, especially the second side of the album(tracks 8-11). By "Homesick", I am an emotional wreck, then this comes in and says "see, it's okay"....or something! It's just perfect!

Such a crushingly emotional song. When he sings "and now the time has gone, another time undone" It just crushes me. Then the longing wail of Robert's Fender VI, that goes on and on, just echoes that line round my head.

Was 17 when this album was released, listened to with my girlfriend over and over , loved her, I'll always remember those good years of my youth and be greatful that I got to experience music like this. They just don't make em like this anymore.

Weirdly enough...and I cannot explain why....this song does help me get over someone and forget them. No idea why! Obviously, it should make me think of them more. Maybe it's because I can see Robert's pain and i'm too lost in it to absorb into my own? Whatever the case, this is beautiful. Pun intended, but I intend this from my heart...I feel cured. Thank you, Robert.

could be something said to an old lover , a friend a parent , a sibling, just simply someone special.or perhaps to yourself in a mirror. A statement to the only One, your other half as they comfort you , on your deathbed . My father died in front of Me , i never said what i could have , should have. Now ..hes gone. Sometimes, we never do find the words, we never ever finish what we start, we are never satisfied . We are human.

Yep...a masterpiece indeed. Critics panned it when it came out. Guess they couldn't see, hear, or feel the substance of this epic record at the time. I bet if you asked them now, they'd agree with your assessment.

"Desesperado a la deriva" solamente un tango puede decir algo asi o un tema de The Cure. "Hopelessly adrift" only a tango could express something like that or a Cure's song.
@lcvd113 жыл бұрын
@MehdiGlz If you are a beginner you should consider developing your ear and forget the tabs. I've never used them when I learned because I noticed very quickly that semi beginners were writing the tabs inaccurately. No one better than yourself to right the wrongs. You should try it as Cure music is not very hard to play but it is elegant and has class.
