I highly recommend How To With John Wilson as well! It's one of the most groundbreaking shows ever and unsurprisingly produced by Nathan Fielder. If you like his other stuff you'd probably love it!

Looooove this show so far. It’s pretty slow moving but it just captures a wholly unique feeling that I love and haven’t seen anywhere else

Also, the guy playing dougie (the producer guy) is Bennie Safdie. He is a co creator and writer of the show alongside Nathan. He has directed a couple of amazing and very unique films titles Good Time and Uncut Gems. His style of anxiety inducing filmmaking is definitely very present in the curse

Some people think nothing is happening yet in the show but only half of the episodes are even out. I'm sure the story will resolve in the full arc of the season.

I just know its going somewhere crazy lol, there is no way Nathan is making a show like this without there being some kind of twist or catch, i have faith lol

@@AdamfromFWCI It's telling to me that the reviews from critics who have seen the whole show gave it a 94% and the audience who hasn't yet is sitting at around 30% on rotten tomatoes lol

I just watched a few more episodes. Glad I'm not investing the time into editing etc and reacting to this, but I will still do the finale and give my thoughts on the series as a whole. The director character is crazy

This is a departure from Nathan's other stuff and has nothing to do with his "persona" although they're very similar. So i wouldn't compare it too much to his other stuff. It's fiction and Benny Safdie who plays Dougie was a co creator as well. He is one of the Safdie brothers who directed Uncut Gems and Good Time.

Honestly I'd say the twist in the final episode is absolutely in line with an episode of NFY. Obviously the shows are very different in almost every way, but this series ended on a wild, holy shit moment, which is usually a feeling that viewers get from nfy. Same but different
