Yeah I like doing these when I have the time and motivation. I've done several others but there are definitely other raids I want to hit at some point.

Oh, and it is technically possible to solo the raid actually (with divine intervention for grip and being fast enough to hit the torches in time). But practically for newcomers I'd say 6-8 on normal is a comfortable number. The main roadblock here is the card phase. Having 1 person at each torch is preferable but it's possible for someone to light multiple torches, it's just hard to pull off since you have a limited timeframe. You also have to consider you may lose someone to grip in the card room so it's nice to have more than 5 so someone can step in and take over a torch if that happens. You may also want someone to tank trash and Strahd in the card room.

...the hardest part(s) of this quest are the rooms with the demons that do the HP debuff, but so long as the raid leader has everyone bring curse pots, even then it's not too tough. The staircase can be managed with or without a trapper, though the "grip" will surely pick you off if you have to move slow. As "complicated" raids go, this is actually one of the easiest to complete, if enough people know the "tricks."

I wish I knew that killing the brides with the sunsword will prevent them from respawning. this would have saved me lots of headache when trying to solo this... :)

Is that true? Interesting. Didn't know about that if so. In any case, this video series is intended to be a quick fast guide and not a super in depth one so it's going to cover the most common ways to complete and not necessarily every possible method. In the last phase Strahd and the brides have such little health (especially the brides) so probably easier for the party especially if a PUG to just kill both simultaneously than try to get the sun sword bearer to get the last hit on each bride. But I can certainly see why a more organized party would want to do that. Especially if pushing skulls for challenge. On R1 or Hard though, which are by far the most commonly run difficulties from my experience, both go down super fast so if they respawn it's really not a big deal.

@AxelAlexK ...Ran this on r1 about 3 days ago, and its absolutely true, this is how I've always ran it. Knowing how to make that last fight so easy makes running on r1+ the easiest way to do this raid, given the buffs and hp and abilities Epic Destinies provide.
