Ich würde als Alternative zum Platzhirsch Photoshop noch Affinity Photo empfehlen. Riesenvorteil: es gibt eine sogenannte Export Persona. Hier kann man festlegen welchen Bereich, in welchem Format und welche Ebenen (nur für den Export ein- und ausschaltbar), Dateiname, etc. festlegen. Will heißen, man kann mit einem Klick, ohne dass man immer Speichern unter und Ordner auswählen muss. Timesaver ohne gleichen. Und momentan für 27.99€ zu haben. (und ich meine momentan auch 90 Tage kostenlos um es zu testen). ACHSO: Bestes Livery Tutorial auf youtube.

Great tutorial, thank you. Do you know why no one makes liveries for the Reiter Gallardo? It’s a shame, this car only has 2 liveries in the game.

I watched your latest video and there was a question on how to show your single player livery in multiplayer online racing. This is how, copy your car file in the custom folder and paste it in the steam file: steamapp/common/assetto corsa competizione/server/cfg/cars, and paste it there that will show your custom livery in multiplayer online. Hope this helps.

This video was a massive help, and thanks for the templates. Cars just look so bland with the in game livery editor, its nice to just be able to put a few sponsors on and make it look a little more like a race car.

Great video learned a lot. One question is about having multiple decal layers and files so I can have Matte, glossy and metallic on one car, is this possible?

Yes - but you have to utilize the ingame design then as well, I think I even talk about this shortly in the video. You could do an ingame design base color in for example matte, then do a decal.png texture in glossy with some color, and then a sponsors.png layer with metallic stickers :)

Loving these vids alot and decided to try myself, its hard to explain my problem but when i load up the psd, the wireframe seems verry jagged and blurry, if i zoom very close the lines will clear up but that makes it very hard to work. Compared to watching the videos in any resolution it seems very clear and i dont know why its showing up like this for me. If anyone has any help please let me know

Hi Chief. Don't have ACC because it's not mod able. Didn't think you could do liveries either. Good to know you can. Only got to about 36 minutes in. Don't need a tutorial on how to paint cars. Moin! Ich folge dem Tutorial, aber wenn ich die Cars.json anpasse, erstellt ACC keinen neuen Ordner in Liveries. Sobald ich dann den Fahrer einmal wechsel, löscht ACC mein Team raus. Hast Du eine Idee? Danke Dir!

Not automatically, only if you share the custom textures - or download the custom textures from other people - more explanation in the workshop :)

As far as I know they cannot at the moment. I do not offer creator services, but you can find creators over at grid-finder.com or in my Discord with my official partner MATOColori :)

Thanks for the prompt answer, we are talking about livery designs compatible with PS4 correct?, most of the contacts in the Grid Finder are PC exclusive.

Already failing at the first hurdle - update the livery, save the PNG, and the car doesnt update in game. Why is nothing straighforward. I have to keep deleted the DDS files every single time. So boring.

I understand that everyone has to have the files downloaded to see each others liveries but do they also need to create the teams and name them the same thing? Or do they just need the livery.

They just need the livery... only if you want other people to have your exact car and drive it... but if you just want it for yourself, and only other people to see it, they just need the custom texture files :)

Schade das es dieses Video nicht auch in Deutsch gibt. Habe mein Auto so weit Fertig. Auto Matt und die Streifen in Glänzend hinbekommen nachdem ich dieses Viseo Angeschaut habe. Allerdings wollte ich die Werbeplakate auch in Matt, dies Funktioniert nicht. Sie sind auch in Glanz. Obwohl ich einen Declas Matt Datei habe und einen Sponsors Datei habe. Ich Habe ein Plakat ans Auto gemacht und es als decals.png Abgespeichert. Auto Weiß-Glanz. Spiechere ich es in sponsors.png ab, Auto Schwarz Matt mit Glänzenden Roten Streifen und das Werbeplakat ist in schwarz Glanz. Ja, wo liegt da der Fehler? Nicht zu Vergessen, das ich in Paintshop 21 auch die Rubrik Decals-Matte Erstellt habe mit neuer Ebene, sowie Sponsors-Red White mit neuer Ebene. Die Roten und weißen Streifen habe ich in spponsors-red white Abgespeichert. Sie sind glänzend. Auto habe ich im Spiel als Matt Erstellt und in ACC Custem Livery die Dateien decals als Matt, und sponsors in Glänzend.

Impressive tutorial, but it convinced me that I don't want to waste my time with it. 😕 It is totally pain in the ass... Assetto corsa really needs a simple in game livery editor, like gran turismo sport.

I haven't seen anyone else ask, and I cannot figure it out so... How do you color wheels? I've seen you run custom wheels on multiple cars. HALP

You do that in the ingame showroom, but that only works if you do not use the 99 carbon base design - you can just use an ingame showroom design with a base color, put your custom livery layers on top of it and still be able to change rim colors :)
