The 7 minute clip was better than any movie I've seen in the past year. Nothing better than experiencing the emotion and intensity of an underdog team winning in the lion's den.

Coach Pope is a every parent's dream. I wish my sons had had a coach like Pope. When the day comes (which it will) BYU needs to do everything in their power to not let him go!

The turning point of this game was after the bogus technical foul was called on the BYU bench after a bogus charging foul was called on Fousse. I just want to thank the referee who made those calls for making the game more exciting than it should have been and for turning the momentum toward BYU!

To overcome the Allen Fieldhouse foul call disparity takes a masterful performance. Fran Frischilla (who loves Bill Self and Kansas) once said it was typically an 8pt differential on foul calls at Fog Allen. Fran sees a lot of Big 12 games. Great job by the Cougars.

Isn’t that something sometimes I feel like BYU is discriminated against
@wsteele58642 ай бұрын
@@user-xp5ds6bs5t I think there are a lot of reasons people feel that way about the team(s) they follow. Sometimes I think it is justified and sometimes I think it can be attributed to other things like how the players are coached, etc. There are a few teams I follow that really do suffer from a form of discrimination from the officiating ranks, and a few that seem to enjoy a kind of special treatment. Kansas in conference really does seem to get more than their fair share of “the calls”. ;)

Felt like I was watching a Christopher Nolan movie with the musical composition - especially in the first half highlights. Truly getting the FULL experience with this video. WOW!

True, but at least you have the referees as backup. They were terrible and BYU still came out with the win!
@timclark29252 ай бұрын
@ we dont care....KU is measured by Final Fours...these games are forgotten in just a few months.....KU needs McCullar back to make another run at the Final 4. For your program this was your superbowl...ha
@Kimmer2 ай бұрын
@@timclark2925 Wow, I prefer confidence to arrogance, since the latter often leads to downfall. I doubt Kansas will be making a run at the final 4 this year, but it's possible. They do have a lot of talented players and I'll be rooting for them if they make a run. I know they didn't play their best game, but neither did BYU. The nature of basketball these days is that most of these teams can lose or beat anyone on a given night. It takes talent and a little luck to make a run in the NCAA tournament. Best wishes!
@timclark29252 ай бұрын
@ they will have a real shot to win it all with McCullar....he is one of the best players in the country...without him they are not good enough....so hopefully he comes back; which is what I said in my comment above; and you had to come run your mouth in arrogance...haha...the arrogant one was you...
@kenangardner31522 ай бұрын
BYU is missing a player as well in Dawson Baker; along with dealing with sickness. Even with some help from the refs, Kansas just got beat.
@defylogictech2 ай бұрын
GIANT KILLAHS.... not to take away anything from Kansas's effort but BYU had to beat the REF's as well.... Funny, that Kansas was lamenting missing a player. Had BYU not had to overcome the Ref's that missing Kansas player wouldn't have been enough. Kansas has the BEST starting 5 in the Country hands down. Loved the TEAMS effort.... The D in the 4th Quarter and the stone cold play was great to watch. Dallin needs to work on his Free Throws a bit however....LMAO
