A thing you missed is that Loid said "Wow" after seeing the guy whom Yor kicked into the ceiling.

honestly the more I watch of this show the more I simply adore Loid's relationship with Anya, that voice is so perfect when he reacts to her going for that door and then playing pretend the entire time after. it's just so damn heartwarming

I just love how Anya is just an actual child in the purest form

The Manga will have what are called Extra Missions, these will generally deal with some daily life scenarios that the Forgers or Side Characters like Franky deal with on a daily basis. This episode adopted two of these into one episode, the first part is from Chapter 11.5 which from I have heard was a promotional release as well to get people interested in the Manga. This is why there is recap matters in it to get people interested. The second part of the episode that deals with the Penguin Plushie is from 23.5. There is actually an extra mission that was at 17.5, episode 11 ended at chapter 17, but I guess they decided to adopt these two first. Hopefully they'll do 17.5 eventually. The second part of the season will start with the dog Arc at Chapter 18 that is 5 chapter long in the Manga ending at 22.

You mentioned Yuri. One small detail was when Loid said there was a shortage of agents which was why he was over worked. I think that is a reference to Yuri and how effective he is at finding these "spies" so their ranks are being whittled down. Also, now that this series is over, I'm not sure if this is the right place, but if you are needing suggestions of what to react to, I will hope that you consider Ranking of Kings. Without giving too much away, I will say there's a lot of emotions involved and at times you're conflicted, torn, sympathetic and also angry, it ranges across all emotions lol. You won't find anybody saying anything negative about this series, it surprised everyone with its depth. P.S. If you're looking for a wholesome funny summer series to watch, " The Yakuza's guide to babysitting" is great

Yes, this was a side mission. The actual mission will be the start of the next cour. Get ready for October. It's the most stacked month for anime. Don't be surprised if you see hype for Bleach though because it's finally coming back after a decade long hiatus for its final arc.

I just finished watching Episode 12 of Cour 1 and I can't wait for Cour 2. This and Urusei Yatsura are the series that I will be looking forward to watch on my birth month in October and it's such a great treat.

Wow so this was a bonus chapter, I didn't know that coz it flowed so well and felt like a consecutive episode with the rest of the show. And yes I definitely miss Yuri. This show is one of the best things to have happened in 2022.

For me as a manga reader, fillers or bonus chapters is to delay or add more content for the main story. The author him or her self can focus on the main story, while their helpers will focus on the others. For most of the time, readers don’t like to read it because it is pointless and it doesn’t have anything to do with the main story. But Spy x Family do amazing job with it. It’s entertaining, you get to know more about the character. You can skip it and still enjoy the main story but you’ll be missing out more fun aspects of the story, being in a happy and loving family. Not everyone can have it, I know that some people do but wouldn’t it be nice to have a family like that. Just saying.
