In this day and age, many people are so distracted by the things going on all around them. Movies, Social Media, Music... It is such a habit to put in earphones and to use music to distract us from our actual circumstances.
But, continuously seeking pleasure is not a good thing. Searching, and trying to find satisfaction in temptations like sex, food, games, and drugs can lead to destruction.

Thanks for the reminder and for preaching truth! I have recently been finding so much joy and peace within the Lord and yes it is because I’ve surrendered everything to Him. He is the only one who will truly satisfy the soul and truly in Him are “pleasures forevermore.” Also here recently I’ve been wanting to get off of my phone more and really just enjoy the natural world, life is beautiful when we get off of our phones and just enjoy nature and people and things like that. a lot of the times I do think that I have to watch KZfaq and be online, but truly I don’t have to, I can enjoy life without always being on KZfaq and social media. But thank you for walking faithfully in what the Lord has called you to do Daniel, you have been such a blessing in my life and helping me to live at the best quality of life that i can live.

My grandfather died in saturday. He was not living for pleasure, but to work and serve others. People respected him so much, becouse he had no ego, no selfishness, just love. He was my hero. I really hope he is in heaven now! He find joy in family, in provoding many things for people, in doing good deeds, not in entertainment. A real example.

Amen! I went after pleasure all my life but always knew there was something missing and in reality,i wanted peace and joy and i wanted relationship and i felt alone and then out of nowhere Jesus entered my life,i accepted Him as Saviour and confessed Him as Lord and that's when i received that peace and joy He was talking about in John 4. Jesus is definitely real guys and He is coming soon in the clouds to snatch away His bride to the wedding. Watch the movie before the wrath to understand. God bless.

I used to be addicted to pleasure. But the God opened my eyes to the evil that is within what I was doing. Now I hate all of it. I don't even want to go near it I can't even look at it anymore knowing what I know. I can't thank God enough for showing me the evil in everything I was doing, now I can see all the wrong in it all. It feels great and I still am a work in progress but really we all are. But I can tell you one thing I more happy then I have ever been now that I have quit doing all that disgusting stuff. The devil is not happy with me but I don't care he is the king of throwing temper tantrums. But let him throw them all he wants in the end all his crying will get him no were. I have peace and happiness now, I know that in the end my love for God really is what matters. God thank you for opening my eyes to see all the evil in what I was doing, now I am finally free!

The life of the people of the Lord God Jesus Christ here on the Earth is NOT easy. Every day trials and temptations and this world is NOT our home - Philippians 1:29/ Acts 14:22 1 Peter 4:12/etc... the Heavenly Kingdom is our Home - John 14:2,3/ John 18:36/ Philippians 3:20 etc... I have struggled with sexual sin since I was a little boy. Before I understood it. Before I knew the seriousness of it. Before I knew it was a sin. Long before I discovered porn. Many times I have begged God to deal with it, but it seems I have to struggle with it until the day I die. I have been a Christian for over 35 years. I am not a happy chappy.

Do you have a video that teaches about what happens after death? Are you in heaven or hell instantly? Or are you in a deep slumber, no conscious, until the resurrection and day of judgment? I believe when we die the next time we open our eyes, it will be the end times. I don't believe anyone is in heaven or hell right now, but I would love to hear what you believe in the subject.

@Mr.CJohnson it's contrary to normal belief, but lemme ask you what the point of judgment day is if you're already in heaven or hell? If God is a good judge, does he send you to your cell for many years and then call you back to court to sentence you back to that cell? The Bible describes death as a deep slumber. Multiple occasions in the Bible do we see the word sleep to describe someone who is dead. Jesus said both the daughter of jarius and Lazarus were asleep. Daniel 12:2 says Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. So, I think the Bible has been telling us that there is no one in heaven or hell as of yet. Not until the day of judgment.
