There was a interpretation I heard but why the darkness devil takes their arms and it was so good that I don't even care if it's true or not. The reason why the darkness devil takes their arms is because you use your hands to see in the dark

vilFrom what I know, this is true because everything in this scene is symbolic. The only reason frogs exist is because frogs have the unique ability to see color in darkness, so they're unaffected by the darkness devil.

There are a lot of darkness devil animations out there (comparatively speaking). Despite this your animation brings something new to the table. It is the only animation that shows just how fast the Darkness is. Most of the time animations stay "true" to the manga and have the devil just appear. But you add momentum and almost a jumpscare to it after the frog ribbit. That honestly adds a lot, probably one of my favorite animation portrayals of the scene.
