@@colincasey5635 Of course it helps his team. The problem is two fold. One they look like drama queens diving and rolling around in the grass. And two the refs need to start carding these dives and embellishments. It's embarrassing and pathetic.

I personally hate diving, and getting a card for diving is happening more. But embellishment is important, and it seems to me like you don't really play the game if you don't realize that. When you're running, it really only takes a small hit to make it impossible to keep running, like a tap on the foot mid stride means you lose control of the ball, or your shot is knocked off, or you lose your footing/pace. Are you implying that you just want the game to be won without skill or talent? The best players are the players who just shove someone hard enough that they lose the ball, but not hard enough to fall? The point of embellishment is to get the ref to see "hey look, this guy is shoving me, not touching the ball, but if I stay on my feet you might not see that, and even though I /could/ stay on my feet, even if I did, I would still not have any control of the ball, not on account of the fact that I lost control of the ball, but on account of the fact that I was shoved, or tackled in a manner in which didn't hurt me, but prevented me from keeping control, AND that shove/tackle was not aimed at taking the ball, it was simply aimed at shoving the player off the ball". Now I could do without the crying and rolling on the floor, but falling down, somewhat dramatically is important for the safety of the player, and for the integrity of the game.
