Never played Apex Mobile or followed any of this stuff since its launch. It's such a shame it's been shut down, though. I'm amazed by how good it looks and how fluid the movement is from these screen recordings. Thanks for this breakdown, it was a really interesting watch

As an apex legends mobile player who hit predator in season 1, 2, and 2.25, the main problems I had with the game was that pubs had way too many bots and only about 4 real squads, high ranked games, though had very little bots, always had at least 2 or 3 full stack of Preds who would absolutely destroy the whole lobby which made the matches very sweaty and unenjoyable. These full stacks did not care for playing cover, they’d keep on rushing you as a squad without worry of dying thanks to the instant slide jumping mechanics. It made it impossible to play ranked with randoms, and unfortunately, many of the friends I made along the way stopped playing and it made the game unmotivating to play. Now I’m waiting for the up coming Warzone Mobile. The hacker problem really wasn’t too bad, I only encountered 2 or 3 hackers all the way to the end of season 3

As a player who played at the start of the beta, hearing the news struck me hard I just got back to playing it and I'm still struck to this day. It's hurts seeing one of my beloved game sunset.

as a movement focused pc player- when i was at work playing fade, and learning to translate alot of movement into touch controls- that is some fun I will never forget

It really is depressing seeing apex mobile getting shut down. I've been a beta tester and a fan on pc version and it is just saddening to witness. It's one of my favorite mobile game, I even stopped playing cod since this is better :( R.I.P Apex Legends Mobile, you will be missed

battlepass is technically not free, you have to buy it with the in-game currency that you have leftover on your previous purchases but you can’t buy in-game currency anymore when the season 4 released

It was one of the better BR games released. The gunplay was great, the movement was chef kiss. Alas, bots truly killed this game

The APEX mobile was my first introduction to APEX, it was an enjoyable experience! I had 13 kills (max) but when I started on PC, i was surprised by the differences with rewards and controls

I’ve played both Apex PC and Apex Mobile, and I do see the various similarities and differences between both versions of Apex. I liked both versions, and I even reached Diamond rank in mobile, something I haven’t done on Apex PC yet admittedly. Of course I was always playing whenever the new battle pass came as I made sure I unlocked all the legends and got both Fade and Octane’s heirlooms. I will miss this game, because the game would be how I revisited Apex maps in their early days. Season 4 Olympus brought me back to the Season 7 days of Olympus, except where are my Tridents to drive around?!

I was one of the Beta testers in the Asian region with Gold rank. It was a smooth gameplay in my phone. And I was very happy with my Bloodhound main every time I do battle. Fade is the only limited character I managed to get. It's sad to see it shutting down.

I played it with my friends for a long time ever since it launched and loved it, but i had to leave due to the constant frame drop and the 2 second stutter, i was planning to play it again but now its gone that's really sad

There’s a bug in worlds edge where you could reach the ledge near the drill between capitol city and sorting factory I think, you could get over there using octanes jump pad or pathfinders grapple

I was sad when my phone could barely run the game while CODM and PUGB runs smoothly. Was getting around 10-15 fps whenever players or even bots were near me. I uninstalled immediately and thought giving it a try next month when the new season hype builds up on youtube or so. This is actually the first time hearing about Apex mobile after I uninstalled

As someone who played the game from release up until recently, I can confidently say that I did truly have a classic EA experience.

As a casual player, I actually really liked that apex mobile have so much event that gives free skins. But i stopped playing after season 3 because im becoming more busy and the event is so grindy that if i missed one day, i better be not playing the entire season

E.A. did the same thing with the old titanfall themed mobile game. It was actually an insanely well made game and they just shut it down when it wasn't making them money

I only played Apex mobile for a few days and my god, I never encountered those kinds of players in the clips shown in the video. I never knew it was that bad, and am glad I didn't continue playing it. Never even played the new Legends aside from Octane.

i came from apex pc, yet also enjoyed my time playing apex mobile. and yes, compared to messy global launch, the beta version was soooo buttery smooth. but for some reason it got worse every update. i used to able to play at 90+ fps with ultra graphics back in beta test, and it went down to 60 at global launch, later capped at 50 fps on later seasons, now the game is barely playable only hitting 25-30 fps after they released olympus and its final season. the game is soool sweaty, especially in ranked. maybe due to the fact that the game got nothing to grind, other than RP and stupid badges i know how big apex is in japan, but here in indonesia, they held many official apex mobile tournaments from time to time. sponsored and funded by EA Indonesia themselves. tho i think it didn't get the game enough exposure. but surprisingly, all the tourneys are still going to this day

A little late to the party, but I actually was the few who actually was an avid player of apex mobile until, well, recently. I still remember when I took modes like search and destroy, gun game and tdm all for granted as well as things such as a legend perk system, two exclusive legends, and much more. It was also the game that brought me to apex, since I had a mac and the download was ridiculously big anyway, and it was sad to see respawn essentially kill the game when the already had so much work put into it. Kinda reminded me of how they also killed titanfall. (At least until Northstar came out)

As a regular player from the first day of global launch, I just shocked by hearing the news after 15 minutes of announcement. I loved the game so much and now this love is hurting me😢. But I have accepted the reality and waiting for Call Of Duty: Warzone Mobile.

When it was first released in Asia, i was having second thoughts of buying the battle pass since i wanted it to have the same process as codm where you earn your CP back when you reach the final tier. But for apex, you get half only so it’s already a red flag in my opinion. Also during the global launch, i was surprised when i opened the game, my account is gone 😮 i was required to create a new account despite my old account already being linked (Not a guest account). It’s really annoying since all my efforts & achievements were put to waste & i had to start all over, not to mention what if I bought a BP or some skins it would’ve been much worst losing it all. I tried to reach thier support but nope they don’t give a sh*t about the community at all. I feel sorry for those who dedicated their time and purchased skins finding out now that EA won’t give them any refunds. The thing I learned from this is I won’t spend a dime for EA games no matter how tempting they are 😂 i also can’t believe that knives out has a longer life than apex mobile. There are more Real Chinese players there than bots. Best of all, my old account there is still up & running 😅

The issues in the mobile game are things that the HD player swear would make the game better, like "More points should be given to placement and not kills", "There should be more game modes for us to play and choose from" "perks would make the legends better" just to name a few.

This was my favorite shooter. I even checked out again older games I played to see where I would go after closing but they're now slow and boring. I'm waiting for Warzone. I play other platforms, but I really enjoy just being able to jump on my phone and get some satisfying virtual kills. Regardless of the issues, the playability of this on a Samsung A52 was very rewarding. I started two weeks before the closing announcement and thought finally a game I'm ready to support and invest in. I played till I was kicked off the server May 2nd at 2:10am. I'm going to see what Warzone has to offer when it releases later this month.

I uninstalled CODM for this game and i did find it a bit boring after a while due to the lack of any new content or extremely hard to get content. I think the modes should have been reduced. I play on FPP more than TPP and i know a lot of people prefer TPP which is fine. I think both modes should be kept. They should have made some competition for those who want to compete in that way. I met some hackers, not as much as some but it was a real ball buster as it made playing the game feel cheap and unsatisfying. However, I love the fluidity of the movement and pace. It made CODM very slow for me. I was there from the beta until first release and man, it kinda sucks that apex is leaving but EA isn't the best company for good things sometimes. my hope is for cod warzone mobile. IDK why i prefer playing on my tablet and phone rather than my PC...i don't get it either...but games like apex got me on it constantly at one point. i haven't played for at least, 2-3 weeks now.

As someone who's had been playing fps mobile games for years, starting with PUBGm, CODm and now this... Apex mobile is by far the MOST FUN I have played with friends for years. It's so refreshing. Sure, there's a whole mess, full of bugs and whatnot but it doesn't make it less enjoyable to play especially with friends. I couldn't find myself trying to play other fps mobile games when Apex mobile announced their shut down.

Well seeing this ,as much as I want warzone mobile to be a success it will be really hard as codm already established a large fanbase with great optimization

I have played both apex legend pc and mobile... So the point about skill difference in ranked is not new for me as in PC it took me some 20-30 games to get a #1 spot and its frustrating. but none the less I never saw any of these glitches in my games.. and yes bots were a problem in mobile

I am going to be playing it till it gets shit down. I don't want it to go, I loved it. Yet I agree that if you were a casual diamond is the peak for you. That the movement simply was not balanced correctly. I love the skins, and I do not think we're going to see them on main apex. Goodbye my only way to play fluid apex. But Olympus still rocks as it should. To those who do not have it, at least play a few games of pubs. See for yourself, it's not that bad or hard to get a win

i played in the soft launch and kept playing for a long time but after they kept extending the seasons it started to get annoying so i had to quit. so sad to see them deleting the game

I played apex legends mobile for one season I got predator. I’m a silver player on normal apex! The skill level of people who play the game was just to low and pubs had loads of bots so that was so much easier I would struggle to not get over 40-50 kills in a pub match once even getting 70. Was pretty proud of that to be honest 😂

I played Apex mobile, and really liked Rhapsody. But I moved to PC Apex, I wish the exclusive legends can move to PC version.

From Kenya here and the servers were terrible for me with my ping all over the place not to mention the poor optimization which isn't bad everything has to start somewhere but compared to other mobile fps it was unstable and the battery drain was absurd so I stopped playing

it's sad, i've spent so much on Apex Mobile since Season 0. FPS was not a problem back then until Global Launch came by. Still have 1300+ coins still waiting to be spent on. But when i left early Season 1 and came back when Loba released, FPS was 0-6. Uninstalled again, after 1 month i was banned for absolutely no reason. Sad. Apex Mobile HAD potential.

I stopped playing when my rank got bugged and I was reset to bronze 4 from gold 2 after a patch update and couldn't rank up past bronze 4.

Tbh I think some of the blame is on the players for finding op glitches and making the game unfun going too try hard on the game and finally leaving it letrally moments before it fixes everything

When this game launched i played it for 3 weeks , but got bored and quit, i didn't know about this happen.

The only reason I did not get to play on mobile, is because 2 years prior I entered my common user name to the Play Station version which belongs my brother. Seeing at the time it was not a big deal, I regretted it because now I can't get the user name (EnvyTheRealest) on the mobile version because my brother no longer have access to the Playstation account anymore. So I refused to play the game just because I can't get my user name which i stamp on everything

one thing that doesn't make sense to me how come switch can run apex(hd) but mobile can't?
