I'll never forget hearing about this. I was looking at a rack of Looney Tunes stuffed toys, in a souvenir store in Carnaby Street, in London, England, when the terrible news came over the radio in the store. Suddenly, all the toys looked so sad to me. That same day, Laurence Olivier and Tommy Trinder also died. That night, all the lights on the West End theatres were dimmed.

One of the few in Hollywood I had wanted to meet. Him and Bob Hope would have been my list. Both long gone now.

He died while recording lines for Mr. Spacely in Jetsons the Movie just like George O'Hanlon did while recording lines for George Jetson and Jeff Bergman stepped in to record the rest of both characters lines.

To this day, May 4,2024, he is not ne of the most important men in entertainment. I met him one time and he was very nice. When I met him, he was donating his time to the Jr. Blind Foundation. I still miss him and I’m 67 years old
