Stepping into the world of foster care with not much experience and without kids of our own was one of the most scary but yet amazing decisions my husband and I have ever made.
To show God's love to the most vulnerable in our country is something that words can't truly describe!
This is a little bit of our story... my hope is that in sharing our journey, it may lead others to step out and do the same.
James 1:27
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."

I have been fostered when I was 8, and when I turned 18 I decided to stay with my foster parents, another foster sister and 1 adopted from overseas sister. I always felt like I was loved twice, it’s natural to love your own kids, but to love someone else kids it’s a big test. I am so blessed to have had parents that loved me like I was their own

To be fair, there are many great foster carers who are not religious. I believe iquite simply doing the right thing, and foster care is just one way to do it (foster Mum to teens).

Oh I kinda cried listening to your story. I am also a believer and I have talked with my husband about opening our home to foster kids. Yes nothing in this world can compare to God’s love and sharing his love with others.

I could never deal with the rotating door, but foster parents have hearts of iron [in the best possible way] they are a true blessing for society.

Such a beautiful story- thank you for sharing! My husband and I were foster parents for about 4 years and have taken a break from it. But I am starting to miss it so much and the kiddos. So we are talking about opening our home again for babies because the need is so great in our area. It breaks my heart. And I couldn’t agree with you more- you love them so much …it’s a love that you never knew was there until you start doing it. God speed! ❤️

Thank you for sharing! We are foster carers and are hoping to have a biological baby soon and others have put fear into our heads saying “your own child will be a deeper love” and I just know that the love I have for our foster son is at the same level as those with biological children. Your story is beautiful 💜

So awesome!! We love hearing this. Its true the whole process of growing a baby and birthing is one of the most amazing experiences but when you fall in love with a foster child they also become your own! You don't think any different of them! God bless you and your family

Love this! We adopted our son at the age of 13 through foster care back in 2017. It wasn't always easy but SO worth it! We live him just as much as our biological children. We are currently preparing to become foster parents again this time We are going to try the baby stage as that's what we have room for in our current house. Thanks for this video. It was very well edited as well.

I came here to watch this video as I am considering fostering some children whilst raising my 3 boys who are 3 years and younger. It has been something I've considered whilst I was young and now being married and having my own children, I still fill like there is still room in my heart for more. Just last night I've spoken about it with my husband who gave me the go ahead which is what lead me to researching and coming across this video! I'm even more thankful that it was the gift of God that lead you to where you are and am now wondering if God was leading me down the same path without me realizing. Something I feared was if I'd be able to love the foster children like my own and I now know that it's possible and if I have faith then there isnt a mountain I cant move. It's really inspiring and just wanted to say thank you! Thank you for sharing your experience and for not being ashamed to give God the glory ❤❤ May God bless your household abundantly

we were foster carers over 10 years unless you have a good lawyer dont do it.and if any lies are made up by the foster child you will loose your biological children we seen it many times but none of this is ever told in training and yes it can be ten years down the track and if a child makes a story up about you its going to cost you tens of thousands of dollars in Lawyer fees
