For me I would go once or twice a year after saving up the money then it’ll be either on my birthday and/or my cousin’s birthday. But these day’s it’s not about social media or going only on a special occasion, it’s about the violent incidents that could happen and the cops just doing random pullovers knowing there’s a good chance they’ve got a good shot at getting a DUI driver.

Yup. I’m also pushing 60 and the clubs I went to in the 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s were much different. We never made it rain or wasted money like this. We had a great time, only men were customers and the women were happy to make a few hundred a night, maybe a grand.

As RayJ said earlier this week, if he and Kin hadn't have had "that video," maybe more people would be going to college and pursuing more professional careers. We need to uplift our culture and our mindsets above "the strip club." The clubs have definitely Changed. A hand-full of dancers are making money. but overall, everyone has gone back to school or a 9-5 Job. She was around when there was a lot of money to the point where she could have bought a house or two and paid it completely off. Social media and Inflation played a role in the decline. If you are a dancer, use it as a steppingstone. You can't do it forever!

Strip clubs didn't decline because of social media, guys typically wouldn't choose screen azz over live, in-person azz. Strip clubs (specifically majority black ones,) declined because the economics don't make sense for the average hard-working guy. The 'glory days' of D-boys, athletes, and entertainers making tens of thousands rain on them made strippers not want to dance for regular guys. Over time, the ballers stopped coming and moved on to the next trendy club or thing, and regular guys stopped going just to be ignored by strppers who'd rather sit in the corner, file their nails, browse social media, or eat chicken wings than dance for you. Ballers spoiled them, and female strip club patrons don't spend on female dancers like male patrons of any economic status do. Also, middle-aged white men typically didn't have to contend with the baller phenomenon in their white clubs, so their economics, experience, and the dancer's expectations remained relatively unchanged...

I lived in Atlanta from 2001 to 2011. I don’t know her but I remember the face. I was young in them streets then. With that said, I was never big on strip clubs, but the guys that I hung out with were. I ended up there from time to time. I’m 47 now married and settled. I didn’t even know that strip club culture or club culture period had changed. I’ve been completely out the loop! Going out for me these day when I have time to do so, is going to a sporting event, comedy club, a bar or lounge just to have a few drinks. I’m home by 12. I remember back in Atlanta, the party didn’t start until around 11 lol!

The women would actually put on a show and it was a form of real adult entertainment. Social media did play a part in that as well as the economy- housing market crash, wars, etc. plus that era grew up. The newer generation made it a lot easier to see everything and get everything without there being a "chase" to get it. Now in strip clubs women sitting around in their phones, bodies all look the same, smoking hookah and acting as if they are too good or hoping lil Baby or Gunna will save them. So it is dead almost everywhere in strip clubs.

Strip Clubs in the USA are dead right now, but it looks like more men (especially black men) are wisely spending their money in other places like the stock market. There are more black men learning about investing in the stock market and in real estate here in the USA right now than any other time period before.
