meaning: at the end of the last season of never have i ever devi goes on a scooter ride with ben to his house to hook up. this is a parallel to devi's mom and dad as during the first season as they also go on a bike ride because they just found out that devis mom had a miscarriage, and the string is representing new blessing in hindi culture.

She’s the most precious character in the series. Probably the only precious one. They were so cute together too,I feel terrible for her. She deserves a better ending.. also,I’m glad that Devi’s character development came in the end though. It sky rocketed when she dumped Ethan. I felt bad cuz he truly loved her,but it needed to be done and I’m glad she did it.

Honestly Mohan was my favorite character on the show. Always proving happy memories and showing up for them when they both needed him internally. He was such a ray of happiness that always looked on the bright side and I’m so incredibly sad we never got to see him for real in this show. I know his death was a driving force but it still breaks my heart that he wasn’t there to show love in person and they had to struggle. Usually I don’t feel this bad but he was just SO good and spreading his ashes felt so unreal and it didn’t feel like he was actually dead. Idek how to describe it.

Nah man , I really think the concept of moving on after a marriage is just a way to pollute the purity of a Hindu marriage. Sure a person should accept the fact and start feeling comfortable with it but going to someone else shows lack of accountability . @@shris_tea okay 3 things 1)Accountability as in , the whole point of an Indian marriage is for the husband and wife to stay together no matter what happens , it’s not a Christian wedding wherein the relation ends on the death of either one. (“Till death parts us”) . That’s why people take 7 rounds of the Mandap signifying 7 rebirths . 2)She’s not young , she has an 18 year old daughter for God’s sake . 3) If she genuinely loved her husband, she wouldn’t have moved on because moving on is just a concept and it’s for the weak . I believe that if you genuinely like genuinely love someone, moving on is not an option because you would never actually move on.

I think they should live their life to the fullest , however I feel if someone truly loved their spouse they would never be able to love again.
