I would like to see a part 2 to the iceberg since some things could be added to it. Like Toonami making fun of the 2008 cancellation but saying it's just changing the timeslot. They even used the same music lol. Also Toonami Aftermath and the people behind it. Plus other Toonami giveaways like shirts, other broadcasting errors like what they did to AOT after credit scene, how corrupted tom in intruder 2 was voiced by tom 1, movie events, even the lost origin of the transition between tom 3.5 to 5. Apprently a Toonami bumper they aired in movie theaters, plus Toonami youtube channels like SlimD, and how they don't have the original tapes of the bumpers anymore. There are so many but this is just the top of my head. Great video!

1. I find TOM standing with silence during the last few CN toonami bumpers pretty sad. 2. I used to be a big fan of TOM 4 in like 2018-2021 but 2 certain people ruined him for me (im not gonna go deeper since i dont want to turn this into a vent.), Aside that i still kinda like him for his stupid look. Literally edit some things around in his design and he is a numberjacks villain. 3. Imagine if they sticked with the japanese audio lol 4. Samurai TOM reminds me of metal Sonic. 5. I translated one of the comics to Polish once. 6. Jesus, the neotoonami shutdown kinda scares me. 7. IT'S MY SUBMISSION!!!!! (I'm the bionicle person) 8. I rather the concept design 4s, especially the kinda psychonauts looking one and nosehole D scares me. 9. I'm sorry for that kid. 10. i got some high quality bumpers from TDA using wayback machine. 11. Screw you Gaara! /j 12. I don't think it even exists. 13. You forgot about the Saturday Video Entertainment System (SVES). Between 2003 and 2004, Cartoon Network aired a Saturday-only late night programming block dedicated to action cartoons like Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Teen Titans, Justice League, .hack//SIGN, Knights of the Zodiac and others that did not fit Toonami or adult swim. By the time Miguzi was introduced, the SVES was replaced by the Saturday edition of Toonami, along with the return of adult swim's action Saturdays. This was at a time adult swim action Saturdays took a year's break.

Besides the way to make Americans and Westerns be exposed to Anime, Toonami was also released in Southeast Asia when I was young, and having a cable subscription was great, regular viewing animes after many hours of regular Cartoon Network was streams on plains. Toonami, alongside Viz, Funimation and Animax were the pioneers of Anime releasing all pver the world, with their dubbed versions being released to non Japanese audience. That caused many people to branch out of dub, and discover there is more than they seem or known.

Cartoon Network was responsible for re-airing several old animes, such as Saint Seiya, which premiered in a block (which no longer exists today) called "Toonami", an allusion to the name of the broadcaster. It was there where Saint Seiya and its new dub debuted, giving the Pegasus Fantasy opening to the people, which would be popularized with the Band. The new dubbing gained a new generation of fans, who are not very familiar with the old one and its altered songs. Its title screens were faithful to the original, and it was the only broadcaster with eyecatches displayed. In 2007, Knights of the Zodiac Hades: The Sanctuary Saga was shown once, being Toonami's last premiere.
@NewGabeOrder4 ай бұрын
Don't you mean, Toonami Aftermath? Since 2010 or so, Toonami Aftermath broadcasted Saint Seiya (ADV Films dub, first 60 episodes only) and Ronin Warriors in rotation right after an episode of Thundercats (MWF) or SilverHawks (TuTh). Cartoon Network aired Knights of the Zodiac (the Kaleidoscope Entertainment Inc. dub of Saint Seiya) between 2003 and 2004 when the Saturday Video Entertainment System (SVES) existed.
