I live in the philippines so i hate how they cancelled adult swim after 2007. Plus they never aired popular shows like venture bros and metalocalypse. This is why adult swim is so special to me.

I've never understood the claim that "The Dawn is Your Enemy" was to scare kids to keep them from watching [adult swim] considering it aired at the changeover to CN, in other words, when kids SHOULD start watching. It just seems to me as saying 'the dawn is your enemy' because [adult swim] ended at dawn, therefore it was the enemy of [as] viewers.

I'm glad that comedy central took Brickleberry. It just showed that they only know how to manage South Park.

You are my favorite Adult Swim reviewer on KZfaq, mostly because you are one of the few who appreciates the masterpiece known as Robot Chicken! So many people just brush it off as pointless crap where they do nothing but make cheap edgelord jokes about kid's shows, you and I both realize it's way better than that 😂.

I actually do remember that thing about the exploding props gag from ATHF. I swear I remember seeing a video or episode which featured it, they formally acknowledged why their stuff was exploding and frylock mentioned because everything was actually cloned and highly unstable. I have no clue where I saw it but I distinctly remember watching it before, very recently too.

I lived in a condominium with my father. My mother was locked up at the time. So it was just me my father and my little sister. I was about 6-7 and she was about 2-3. Every night I would stay up really late and watch cartoons (or it felt late to me) I remember courage the cowardly dog would play almost as the last show before adult swim would come on. I had a little a box tv and sat in a regular plastic and metal school chair to watch Cartoon Network. Whenever adult swim came on I would switch Around the tv channels thinking I had the wrong channel. I would either turn off the tv or switch the channel or on rare occasions try to watch it. Most of the time I would only see the fry guy and the drink man and stuff. Only time I would notice the really weird stuff is if I left the tv on and crawled in my bunk bed (bed on top and couch on bottom) and fell asleep. I’d wake up in the middle of the night and see the creepy stuff and run to my tv and turn it off. My dad would leave almost every night to smoke weed or do whatever else he did so I always had the feeling of being so alone. Come to think of it I don’t even remember where my sister slept so I really was just alone with my room and the box tv watching cartoons late at night. Late night cartoons and adult swim give me the weirdest feeling.

Your eyes are going to look as tired as the eyes above the sun. and the sun is happy because the day just doesn't give a crap. Time for work.. and meet the enemy.. your day of no sleep. If you were up that late it was because you watched the shows OR you had this in the background unable to sleep.

I feel like if Adult Swim actually picked up Problem Solverz instead of passing it down to CN, maybe the show would've actually been better. It definitely would feel at home with other psychedelic shows like Superjail and Xavier: Renegade Angel. There was an Adult Swim Game that I really enjoyed playing when I was younger, I just can’t remember the name. My favorite was the Caligula game, but the one I can’t remember is one where you drive some sort of cart through a lab/office, and you’re hitting zombies(?) with some sort of pipe, you have to avoid hitting them with the cart otherwise you’ll break down and get caught by the zombies. It may have been a Sealab game, it had that art style, but I can’t remember it. Anyone know what I’m talking about?
