THEORY: Jonesy was one the phone with someone involved in the Doomsday event, he was talking to someone about the fact that the Device held all the water and wondered how long it would hold, he was also talking about a “Loop” I’m guessing this is a sort of time loop, WHAT IF THE TIME LOOP IS EVERY GAME OF FORTNITE YOU PLAY AND IT HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE THE VERY BEGINNING, and in every time loop the storm closes in again and again and we fight each other to survive the storm, and when he saw “you” he was shocked and asked if you could hear him, like you had just come out of thin air, well you know how when someone dies in Fortnite the drone sucks them up like a hologram, well maybe Fortnite is like a simulation and what if Midas knew what was going on and made the device to show everyone the truth about the simulation, and you know how the device was pushing back the storm? What if Midas was trying to get rid of it so we wouldn’t have to fight for our lives against other people and the storm, what if when you saw the “vision” you were seeing the place where they conduct the simulation or something, that would be why Jonesy is one of the main/original characters, AND in the vision, Jonesy he looks less buff then he does in the game, which could mean they made him a character in the game since he is supposedly one of the creators of the simulation, IDK this is just my theory so plz don’t hate on it

My theory is that when Jonesy said "How long do you think it'll hold" he was talking about the storm barrier holding in the water. When the flood happens it will wipe out all of the named locations and when all of them are gone there willnonly be a blank chapter 2 map, so in the cut scene before next season it will show the flood and the people of fortnite rebuilding. All of the season 1 POIs will come back because that is the basic stuff, that is the stuff they know how to build and is easier to build for them. Long story short it will be old points of interest on the new map layout.

Even rewatching this, I still have the same feeling when I first watch it.

MY THEORY: What if Midas was trying to break the storm because he saw in the future it would lead to his death and many others, like his corpse is the Oro skin(theory was Midas was Oro) and the set is called Midas’ Revenge because Midas wants revenge against the storm for taking someone important to him. Like maybe the tempest skin was a first test on trying to push back the storm but failed and the storm took him over. That’s why the Cyclo is an improved version of the suit and Midas didn’t want no one else to get corrupted by the storm( tempest) so he put on the suit as a selfless act. Also what if when Jonesy said “Can you hear me?” Is that we are unmuted. Agency was a whole cover up to build the device. What if Midas is one of the seven. 🤷‍♂️ Also what if the reason why Midas and the other skins were Top secret because they knew what he was up to and wanted to help and also If the Jonesy parts of the event was a flashback u saw On the wall he had pictures of his family maybe thats why he wants to help Midas to avenge his family or prevent their deaths idk. Ok Ik this is far far far way fetched off but what if Jonesy is the Visitor and build the rocket to take up the storm to rift it some where else because Midas failed. Remember when The Visitor said he’s looped what if that’s Jonesy in an other reality. Somehow Jonesy is like the heart of the fortnite or so part of it. He’s been in a lot of season trailers and The Visitor is shocked(Jonesy) that we can hear him because he was muted like the other visitors(The Seven) maybe. This is just theories Ik there’s a lot of plot holes no hate plz

The flashbacks was how life was before the storm took over and turned everyone to husks and Midas was a worker a long with agent jonesey working for dr vinderman researching the storm Janice is the name of Midas’ daughter u may know here in the leaks as the engineer. The event was Midas trying to do what dr vinderman and his workers where trying to do many years ago break the storm.
