3 жыл бұрынWell what a month July was! A day out tope fishing, massive cats, some awesome old carp from the syndicate and plenty of time spent out on the bank with good friends.
I know it's a bit of a marathon this month at nearly 2 hours long but I hope you enjoy it, if you manage to make it all the way through!

I'm new to cat angling, do you lip hook the live baits? What sort of size liveys do you use, water I'm looking to fish has mainly small cats up to high 30s

I much prefer lip hooking lives if I can as they tend to last a lot better and if they don't get taken, they will quite often go back alive and well at the end of the session. For cats of that size I'd say fish of around 6-8 inches would be best. Roach and perch are by far the best baits as they both work well and last well. Skimmers and rudd are OK if you can't get anything else but they don't tend to be the best.
