This channel is GOLD. Your knowledge is immense and the way you breakdown and explain this stuff is so easy to follow and understand. The Cardone video brought me here, and that one on the EcoBoost was even better! Keep it up Dustin!

Awesome video. I just bought lmm. Guy said the egr is disabled and a blocker. Should I delete whole thing or leave it. I'm getting really bad fuel mileage. Lol. Maybe cause I was used to my old 7.3. Reason for the lmm. To tow my big camper which it does amazing.

I agree with previous posts a video on how to Bulletproof an LML, would be the money. Otherwise, this is one of the most informative videos I've ever watched for my truck

Absolutely best and most informative video on Duramax engines I have ever watched. Thank you!! As for ideas; 1) Known issues for the L5P and LML and how to overcome them would be great. 2) Also, an overview on my the Denso HP4 fuel system is better as a second idea over the CP4 would be amazing! I am in the market for a few year old one and I'm sure many are looking for this information. Thanks Dustin!!

@DG'w Pro Tech , have a LBZ over here in Alta. Just dropped the trans pan in the Alli, and changed out the PSI Manifold Switch and the internal filter, and external, have 10 quarts back into her, did the cold check to get going, and added to the 10 quart mark, can only get 150 degrees ferenheit for the hot check, in park at this temp, the level is just at the bottom of the hot has marks, thoughts?

Great stuff glad I found your channel.. I have a 2018 Duramax that’s had its third Particulate Matter Sensor put in and dealer can’t tell me why it’s happening. Any idea… I don’t let It idle long but am guilty of short trips.. is that what’s causing it?

I'm looking at a 2001 Duramax and I keep reading that there was no 235hp lb7....That they all were 300hp and they have a sticker saying 300hp on the valve cover? Is this true or not?!?

Just got lml 2016 back from Dealership. Reductant heater code. 34,000 miles highway, low hours. Use only "top tier" diesel and always keep tank at least 1/2 full. Maintanance kept on top of. 21.5 mpg highway average. Extended warranty worth the money. Dealership offered me $45,000. Said no because there is nothing on lot to trade in on. Generally, I trade them in on new one every 4 to 5 years depending on warranty period. Burnt chip factory in China blew that tradition out of play this year. Lost tract of all the duramax I've owned. Keep them stock and clean. Pulls boat great! 5.3 and 5.7 L Chevy truck struggled up steep hills. Love the quiet engine.

Such a complex motor design dodge is way more basic and a more inline set up for way more air flow and power. Also much easier to work on complete any job with the motor i pretty much. Tranys are good if you stick with the 2007.5-2010
