Do you have a "Special Tool" to put on the clamp on the backside of turbo? If not tips are welcome. my vehicle is a 05 6.0 liter F-550. Not bulletproofed that I know of.

Oh yes, the motor is not difficult to work on, just take the cab off. Nothing like the most complicated motor ever, CUMMINS IS THE BEST

I just did an entire fuel system without pulling the cab on a 6.7, you can change all accessories without pulling cab, turbo, all kinds of jobs you sound like a fanboy

My 6 .7 will shit All over a cummins cab on or off..cummins makes a lot of noise powerstroke makes a lot of power & Torque and the whole truck is reliable..cummins just the engine rest is Garbage!!

After listening to several videos on the 6 liter Ford diesel it sounds like the best thing you can do to prevent issues with these engines is not to buy one in the first place and get a reliable gasoline engine instead.

Looking to buy a 05 f350 dually with about 135k. Only 5k$ Was a company vehicle that’s upgrading their fleet. I’ll only put 5k miles on it per year hauling firewood and Christmas trees. It’s overkill for sure but seems like a good deal. I’ve never owned diesel before. Is this a bad idea?

I have a different tuner and gauge in my 2019 6.6 Duramax and the main reason I got it is so that I can monitor regens. Just like you said I try and time it so I'm going to be going for about a half hour drive right about the time that it's supposed to regen. My tuner/gauge also allows the user to force it into regen so if you're almost there but not quite and you're going to be making that drive you can make it active before it reaches 100%. Dave

Also, I would love if you did a video on the new diesel safety test requirements in Ontario and how that will affect truck owners who have removed the emissions equipment. I have a 2012 ram 3500 with the 6.7 Cummins were the emissions equipment is removed. I bought it like that and I'm a bit concerned that I will get pulled over. Wondering what would happen if they checked on my truck for emissions.

How about forcing the regen with a scan tool? That is what I do on my EcoDiesel. A few times I've had to check engine light come on and it's DPF related. Both times I did a forced regen and the check engine light did not come back on

I bought this exact truck before I saw this cab off repair video. Truck now has 450,000 kms on it towing almost full time. Couple injector pigtails and fuel lift pump issues but nothing too pricey so far

Great stuff glad I found your channel.. I have a 2018 Duramax that’s had its third Particulate Matter Sensor put in and dealer can’t tell me why it’s happening. Any idea… I don’t let It idle long but am guilty of short trips.. is that what’s causing it?

No this is the way a 6.0 should be done , i would feel confident running a 6.0 that u guys rebuilt , damn good job , i think u missed the FICM which is a weak point i believe as well , is that true?

Just throw a bullet proof vest over the engine and call it a day...lol i really do love the way those 6.0s sound with the turbo whistle. And they can make a ton of power, i couldnt afford to own one unless i bought one already that had all the problems fixed and bulletproofed . .

Ram screwed up using the Italian diesel. If Stellantis used the 5.0 Cummings that the Titan XD used this truck would have been great...😊

I think Dustin is a little dishonest here about the 6.6L Duramax. He seems to have conveniently failed to mention that GM has used Denso high pressure fuel delivery components on the L5P Duramax since 2017 and they don't suffer from the problems Ford has with the CP4 high pressure pump. Problems once had with the CP4 are nonexistent on the L5P Duramax.

i run 15w40 and never had a issue and mine got 295.000 on it what kill any diesel is when u start programming leave them alone

In theory, a good idea. Were they able to pull it off with reliability or longevity? Not a chance. GM started this in 2007. To bad the class action lawsuits dont cover that far back. Lot of people got ripped off. GMs fault? Not entirely. Federal government constantly pushing manufactures for increased fuel efficiency standards. Who ultimately pays for these failures? The consumer

i did my 6.0 in mexico 5 years ago, they said all this bulletproof bullshit is not needed, just more protection on the headgaskets and ive been running great. so far 780k miles on my 6.0

The 6.4 is 100x worse than the 6.0 and the vast majority of 6 litre powerstrokes that go to dog $hit is from tuning them and running the piss out of em!

I have an ecoDiesel and so far running well but nice to know you are in Listowel Ontario which is relatively close to me, I will keep you in mind when/if I have issues. Do you cover warranty work?
